  12. hi and welcome drmom It certainly sounds a little worrying...I would probably think he is a bit insecure that you will loose the weight and him... see if he gets over it...if he doesn't don't let his negativity get the better of you...Who are you doing this for? If, as I hope it is, you are doing for YOU then stand firm...and if he is dragging you down deal with that bridge when you come to it. I look forward to hearing more of your progress.

  19. It has taken me a year and a half and -84lb to come down from a size 24 (us) to a size 18 (us). I am interested in finding out if this is pretty standard or if I am just a slow looser...as I think I am. How long has it taken for you? Does anyone know what weight figure (ie 18lb) relates to a new dress size or is it different for everybody.. I am trying to work out how long it will take me now to get to a size 12. :funscale:
  20. If it were me and I was in that situation...of being the one who misplaced It i would buy and modern equivalent hey digital cameras are gettting better and cheaper. I don't want to be accused of being a cheap ass though...its more than just the financial value of the thing you were inconvenienced because a piece of technology that you did have, and used you don't have anymore because of your friends negligence so he should replace the technology in total....no sharing costs it was his fault...
