Welcome soxee15525 Its important to rember that lapband is not just a magical solution...there is still work to be done but it is a big step in the right direction...as long as you follow eating regulations, up your exercise program you cant fail. It can be slow at times but don't be dishearted just plow your way through the long term benefits are worth the fustrations in the short term. Look forward to hearing of your progress.

Welcome StaceLG I was petrified before my surgery having never had one before but the staff were brilliant and kept me relaxed before I knew it it was over...sure i had some pain in the first couple of weeks but it was soooo worthit...I have never looked back!

Welcome Carol it is a very exciting time... Most of the time I just love getting on those scales... It is so great to see it go down some each week...not so good when you plateau but cross that bridge when/if you come to it.
