  1. Im ok.i have at least 1 day a week of slimy emesis. But my doctor dont seem 2 b concerned.and when it start i have 2 let it finish its course. And today is that day. No matter what i eat or drink. The nutritionists. Said to follow my body signal

  2. My sister had the bypass over 10 yrs ago when they acyually did surgical incision.she says that i am doing good. And that 50lbs in 1 year is the norm.so why do some people lose 80 or more. That makes me feel abnormal.

  3. Hi, i work in tn.i was banded 12/08 its hard work no doubt.im down from an 18 to a 10 goal an 8.wt loss is slow.but i know that noone can do it for me.

Hey girl, getting ready for thanksgiving.will be doing a lot of cooking but a little eating,but time with my kids and family and friends..i won't miss it much.b/c before the surgery i would cook and be too hot and tired afterwards to eat much anyway.the more food i see the less i would eat.sounds weird huh

How r u doing i havent heard from u.i'm still trying.today i have a scratchy throat i dont get too many colds but when i do that last for ever seems like.i guess its the diabetes that makes it leanger so.but my glucoses have been good. Normally when i'm coming down with a cold my glucoses are elevated a day or 2.but not this time.last week i only took my diabetes meds once because my glucoses 80 and below. I took it xmas day because i ate more than usual

  11. Hi, thanks. I got a fill followed the diet regimen which i havent done before.i dont have any problem doing the liquids while at work.i am at my hungryest in the evening.im pushing myself back up to 2 hrs exercise a day.now i am scared tto weigh myself.i am still in my size 10's

  12. you may be feeling some restriction.this band working is temperamental at best.trial and error.so try something light,if whatever you ate for lunch dont agree stir away from that

  13. Hi, i live inthe memphis area. I was banded a year ago today.dr weaver.i have lost 62lbs so far 37lbs from goal.nice 2 meet someone on here that is from my area. I work where madan used to be.

  14. girl thats grreat my goal is a size 6.i need more help and motivation.i had to have all of my fluid removed i go to get my fill 05/31/10.which will be 6 weeks.i still go to the gym daily.now i go in the early mornings instead of evenings.

  17. higirl, i tried to get a ticker and couldn't,my son even tried and couldn't.i went 2 my medicine dr. yesterday he was impressed my Hbga1c 5.2 a normal persons level.he decreased my diabetes meds again and my blood pressure meds. he asked me where i wanted 2 be wt wise i said 130lbs. he said too small i said no! i'm bouncing from 172-180. i go for a fill next Tuesday.i got 2 go to work now later.

  18. hey girl ineed serious help im gaining wt i gained 15 lbs i 2 moths my dr said that i shouldnt be on a constant diet with the band to loose wt but that is what i have been doing for over a year with exercise.i had a fill i am @7.3ccs.really depressed about this.on a liquid/puree diet for today.

  22. HI, I HAVE TO HAVE MY MP3 PLAYER AND I TALK TO MYSELF ,MORE LIKE SCOLD LOL.I WALK AT A PACE OF 3.5-4.4 ON THE THE TREADMILL ONE DAY,THAN ON THE CROSS TRAINER 10/8RES. ONE DAY, AND THANTHE ELLIPTICAL LEVEL 5 OR > ONE DAY, ALTERNATING THAN I DUE MACHINE FOR ARMS AND OR BALL SQUATS DAILY.5 DAYS A WEEK.JUST LEARNING TO UP AND DOWN TREAD ON THE TREADMILL.HAVE A LONG WAY TO GO.
