. So, today I tried eating a piece of chicken again and each piece got stuck. So it's taking me an hour to eat a piece of chicken, but I never seem to get full. Maybe because it takes me so long to eat it or maybe because there is no restriction. So my question is there really seems to be no restriction but everything is getting stuck. I feel like I need another fill so I can have restriction but with another fill Im not sure I could eat any real protein. If I take the time it takes me to eat say a piece of chicken the first bite would be 1/2 digested by the time I got to the last. So I would never be full for 3-4 hours. Any thoughts or suggestions would be great! __________________ I haven't had a problem with chicken, yet, but I read that some people do. Was it the breast? Some people only can eat the thigh, because it is moister. Try dipping your chicken into something while eatting it. I dip my chicken into Sabra's garlic roasted hummus, and it is sooooo good. If you don't like hummus there are other things you can make. Bariatriceating.com has alot of great recipes and tricks for eatting. I find it to be a very helpful site.

If I drink whole milk I get the poops, since the surgery. I have been drinking skim milk and that stays with me fine. I think I read some where, that some people who have baratric surgery, can cause you to become lactose intolerable.

I do not like the protein either, but I did find Matrix cookies and cream and the Matrix strawberry is delicious. I also brought vanilla but have not tried it yet. I was really surprise how good they are. I brought them at the vitamin shop. they were on sale for 19.99 for 2.5lbs. I mix them with skim milk.

Yesterday I brought a can of progresso black bean soup. I heated it up and then but it in the blender and blended (pulse) until all the beans were gone. put a dab of sour cream in it. Oh my was it good. I really wasn't to sure if I would like "bean soup" never had it, always afraid to try,(it if you know what I mean.) I am suppose to be on full liquids and I am not sure if this would be consided full liquids or puree. But it poured out of the blender. I handle it great. So figured I just put that out there.

I'm feeling the same way poppyred. I just took some more hydrocodone. The pain is more around the belly button area. I had a single incision and I'm thinking maybe that is around where the doctor put the port. I can't bend because it feels like a log is in there. Other then that pain and still swollen I feel good. I have more energy. And I'm dropping weight. I go to my doctor next tuesday I will let you know what he says.
