I haven't been on here in a while. I was just browsing thru profiles... Wow, You look amazing. You've done such a good job! How much have you lost so far?

I'm down 70 lbs as of 2 days ago but after seeing your pics I feel I have a while to go still.

Are you still located in AZ? I just moved back and was looking for bandsters in my area.

It's been a LONG time since I've been on. so much has been going on...

I had my surgery as planned on June 8 2009 and since my life-changing surgery I am down 70...let me say it again...SEVENTY (as of 2 days ago) pounds!!!

It's amazing! My Bloodsugar is better, my blood pressure...

There are a few unexpected drawbacks. I'll try to get into them later I'm gonna browse this site and see how all of you are for a while.

I am still not yet where I want to be but things are still going well, 180 is NOT the lightest I've ever been as an adult, that is still about 20 pounds away and my "ideal" SHOULD be about 40 lbs away (never been there as an adult so I just don't know/can't imagine)...If I'm actually able to reach 140 I don't know what I will do w myself.

I get banded tomorrow, nervous and scared... but when I see ppl like you and what you did it encourages me. Can you offer any tips?

How long did it take you to get to the weight you're at now? What kinds of exercises did you do etc.

Here goes, a little about me...

I'm a married mother of one. My husband is the Army, I'm in my twenties.

I'm nearing the end of my journey of tests and evaluations. I have 1.5 months left til I can actually have the lap band surgery, I'm hoping to schedule an apt with my surgeon next week.

I'm excited, apprehensive, and scared but I think this is the next important step to becoming the new me, well, a BETTER version of me anyways

I'm just looking to meet people on the same track, people I can talk to and hopefully relate to.
