WOW you look AWSOME!

I associate my current looks as a TICK. Small head huge body. I CAN NOT wait to change that, I am however, worried that because of all this excess weight I have let myself gain will my face look old a wrinkly when I lose a 100+ pounds. Do you feel you all look older since you weight loss? I don't mind the trade off for better health but I might need to start a Face Lift fund for my self.

Well, my heading is really my question. I tried the HGC diet and my body went into starvation mode ( 500 cal a day) once a person gets sleeved will the body go into starvation mode?

I lost a bunch of weight but since I lost it all over it took a while for people to notice. I would be thrilled for you loss!

Think of it this way, as much as Beer and Cigs sound wonderful....this is a better way of losing and you are losing about 5 lbs of FAT every week so far, 20 pounds a month... if you keep it up at this pace you will lose you will lose 120 in six months... While your weight loss may stall, you are losing inches, and you will lose. Slower the better, less saggy skin.

What great ideas!! The only problem I would have is the OZ with letting the Dog in or out. I would be at 64oz by lunch!

Find another DR. all in your network ASAP. Get your heart checked and keep going! Don't deal w/a Dr. that sweeps your feelings about a shady deal or bait and switch under the carpet!

I think one of the reasons is too low a BMI. I am not sure as I am waiting approval...UGH~

If he approved you is it that he has not sent in his report? I agree to make a apt. I also wonder if he is still in business. A call to the BBB to check his record and file a complaint might be in order as well. He is playing with your life. I would also talk to your surgeon and insurance as well as make sure you document every call to this Psy. You may also want to send him a Certified letter asking for his requirements.

I have seen a lot of people saying they also had a Hernia repair. Do you know about having a hernia or are the discovered during Surgery. Sorry if this is a dumb question but feel more comfortable asking you guys than my Dr.

Saw my PSY. Dr. It went well I guess. Took a MONSTER test, I hope I don't come across as a lunatic! He said he would have his report done with in a week since I needed it so quickly. I hope he does not drop the ball as he is the last thing I needed to submit to BCN. I find it VERY hard to wait and am preparing myself for a denial, not because I don't need the surgery, but because I doubt they want to pay the whole thing since I have almost met my Max out of pocket.

So how will I know if this is the case with my husbands insurance? I called Blue Care Network and they told me what I had to do in order to be approved. Would they have told me if the employer excluded WLS during that call? Good GOD, a whole new rejection reason to worry about...I am going to give myself a stroke! UGH!
