  1. my goal was 160.i've made it to 165.i changed my goal 2 155.i'm going 2 take it all the way!!!!!!!!! ...the pix is in that album...if u still can't find it...let me know and i will send it to ur e-mail address....:-)

  3. my question is...i was doing the rotating stairs on a level 12...since i had to cut some of my time at the gym i now do them at level 15...is it the time spent or the intensity of the work-out?

    do u think cutting those 15 minutes out of my work-out will balance out if i exercise more intensely? thank u for ur time

  7. 15 already?????????!!!!!!!!!!! yeah u'll be at goal in no time!!!!!! i'm good..i finally started going to the gym this week...and i'm already addicted...lol...i'm going to my regular dr. on the 28th...i'll finally know how much i exactly weight...i'm hoping i made it to my 1st goal in under 10 months...

  8. 17 pounds in 1 month is awesome....i dont want u to feel bad if i tell u how much i lost my 1st month...but i can tell i was way bigger than u in the begining and that has a lot to do with it...ur drive is going to get ur weight off...i can tell ur determined!!!!!!!

  9. 2 minutes on ur first run!!!!!!!!!! i couldnt run for more then 20 seconds when i 1st started out!!!!!!!!!! ur sooooooooo little...my friend claims to wear a 12...i think she is more like a 20...i showed her ur pix and said "this is how a size 12 should b done"...i know u want to lose more but u r rockin the s#i^ out of the 12's!!!!!!!!!

  10. 2-day is my 7th month bandiversary and im 120 pounds down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i cant say enuff good things about the band...yes...i've had to work very hard...yes i had to change the way i eat and view food...yes i have to exercise...is exercising and eating healthy worth looking better...feeling better...wearing a size 10?????????OH YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i didnt need much conveincing...i was 296 pounds...double chin...fat face...i was disgusted with myself...i was convinced anything was better than living in that huge ...sloppy body...and i'm right!!!!!!!!!!! as far as complications...i consider mine to b the norm...if i eat to fast or dont chew good...yes i will pb...did i lose hair...yes and its now growing back...when ur morbidly obese there r far more complications!!!!!!!!!!

  12. 32 pounds??? wow thats an awful lot being that u are starting off at 285....i was 10 pounds heavier than u at my consultation...i really dont understand why they put u on a diet...when the reason y u want the surgery is bcuz diets haven't been working...makes no sense...

  15. 47 pounds is awesome!!!!!!!!! the first 9 months i power walked and jogged...i started power walking around my neighborhood...and added a 1/2 mile to a mile once a month to my routine...i eventually got up to power walking - jogging 7 miles 6-7 days a week...about 6 weeks ago i joined the gym...b4 my tummy tuck i was walking/running on the treadmill for 30 mins....doing the rotating stairs for 50 mins. and then the elyptical for 30-40 minutes 6-7 days a week and taking a spin class on saturdays...right now my exercise is restricted to walking on the treadmill for a hour until i heal from my tummy tuck...once i get the okay...i will start working with a personal trainer on my stomach...its flattned out but i want to build some muscle and will still do cardio...i try to burn 1200-1500 calories a day with cardio exercise but i had to build myself up to that....

  16. 50 pounds!!!!!!!!!!! don't come down on urself...50 pounds is a lot of weight to lose....my exercise routine is all cardio...i need to take my flabby butt to the gym...but have no motivation to go...i have all the motivation in the world to do cardio exercise...but when it comes to the gym...i dont know what my problem is...i power walk/jog for at least an hour and a half to 2 hours 6-7 days a week...i do not count my calories any more...i measure my portion to b a half cup...i do not snack...but i'm not big on counting...i eat what i like...with an exception to rice...pasta and bread...no sweets either...but i don't have a sweet tooth...my motivation is the way i feel...i was absolutely misreable being over weight....i dont think i'll ever 4get that feeling...i'm on a natural high...i cant go back...i look at food as food...it taste good for a minute...but the damage can stay on u for a lifetime

  18. 70 POUNDS IN UNDER 4 MONTHS WITH THE BAND??????? I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i love to hear big losses with the band....everyone thinks u have to have the bypass to lose a lot of weight and quickly....and then they run in2 people like us.....lol.....congrats!!!!!!!!! u'll be at goal in no time!!!!!!!!!!!

  19. 70 pounds is AWESOME!!!!!!!!! its hard to compare ur loss with other peoples...there r so many factors that weight in...i have lost 128 pounds...please don't let that discourage u...70 pounds is excellent!!!!!!

  21. a panniculectomy removes the excess skin...its not like a tummy tuck...they dont pull on the skin...and u keep ur belly button...its not as good as a tummy tuck...my insurance is covering it...if i could afford a tummy tuck i would definitely have one!!!!!!! i will have to tighten up my stomach myself....

  22. a panniculectomy...is what insurance covers...not a tummy tuck...the panni will just simple remove my excess skin ....that is looking like an apron right now...i dont take pics of that...lol...but there is no tucking...put it this way if i had the money i definitely would do a tummy tuck!!!!!!!!!!

  25. and a happy bandiversary to u 2!!!!!!!!! i'm maintaining at about 158...i was telling tmg333 how hard it is now to find clothes in small sizes that aren't too short 4 me....(strict dress code at work)...if i'm not too fat...then i'm too tall...lol...ur much more toned up than i am...go on ahead with ur size 4's!!!!!! ;-)
