  2. and it only gets better...i promise...

  3. lmao....another poser....thats okay ...there r plenty of members on here with impressive bodies after having lap band surgery...scars and all...i love my port that sticks out like a sore thumb....its the band in me!!!!!!lol

  4. no...no...no. on the snacking...i exercise for at least an hour and a half to 2 hours 6-7 days a week...some people will tell u to up ur calories...i dont know about that...i'm always afraid if i go back to my old habits...i wont b able to stop...if u do eat bread...pasta and rice...try cutting that completely out for a lil while...i've gotten stuck b4 too...the closer u get to goal...the less u'll drop...the less u weight...the less calories u burn off when exercising...the last 15 r the hardest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. i honestly never kept track of how much i lost per week...i honestly don't own a scale...if i would've focused on weekly weight loss that would've drove me crazy...i do know at my 6th week appt. i had lost 37 pounds...in the month of december i lost 22 pounds..i dont know when or how much the rest came off...my loss has slowed down a lot...the closer i get to goal the less i lose...which is perfectly normal...i estimate my weight right now to b around 163...which is a loss of 133 pounds...but i dont know 4 sure...i have a dr. appt on july 28th and thats when i have an exact #. i refused to let myself get all wrapped up in #s and just let this happen 4 me...i know ur going to do great...post some new pics a.s.a.p.!!!!! i'm waiting!!! lol

  6. thank u sooooooooo much!!!!!!!!!!! i can tell by ur positive attitude ur going to be just as successful ...if not a bigger and better success then me...i'm rooting for u....and cheering u along everyday!!!!!!!!! p.s.....try a 16...i think ur under an 18...let me know!!!!

  7. woot!!!!woot!!!!!!!!! go on ahead with it...u'll be at goal in no time...i see ONEDERLAND 4 u in the VERY VERY VERY NEAR future!!!!!!!!!

  8. my husband looks at me the same today as he always has...his love and feelings have never changed and thats what makes me love him even more....he liked the way i looked when i got to 200 pounds...now he thinks i'm waaaaaayyyyyyy 2 thin...but he is just a man...what do they know....lol

  9. i never mind...ask me anything...anytime!!!!!!!...i was hoping to find a trainer that had weight loss surgery...but there arent any at the gym i go too...my trainer does know i have my band...my port is really high up...so it doesnt get in the way of any exercises i do...i would image if it where lower it may get in the way...i train and exercise just like every1 else....happy thanksgiving!!!!!!!!!!!

  10. 70 pounds is AWESOME!!!!!!!!! its hard to compare ur loss with other peoples...there r so many factors that weight in...i have lost 128 pounds...please don't let that discourage u...70 pounds is excellent!!!!!!

  11. i eat the same as any other typical bandster...but i do exercise a lot...i power walked and jogged my first 91/2 months and recently joined the gym...i do a hour on the treadmill...stair climber for 30 mins...the elyptical for 30 minutes and on the weekends i either take a spin or pilates class...i worked my wap up to being able to exercise the way i do...in the begining i was only able to walk up the street and i added more and more to my routine every 3 to 4 weeks

  12. when u get in2 single digit sizes it varies...targets size 6's are getting too big...but a size 6 jean from wet seal or forever 21 won't go past my thighs...i don't even pay attention to sizes anymore...new york and company's sizes seem to b on point...my new problem is that i'm too tall for skirts and dresses at those lil junior stores...too fat..too tall...if its not 1 thing its the other...

  13. u look PERFECT!!!!!!!!!! i was wondering how tall u r???...u r my inspiration!!!!!!!!!!!!

  14. uuuummmm...lady u passed me up a long time ago!!!!!!!!!!!

  15. i honestly have no idea....i know in the begining i was staying between 600-800...i'm the bandster that doesn't count....lol...i eat a 1/2 cup of food 3x's a day...tuna...with real mayo...chicken...2day i brought fajitas...people get to wrapped up in counting and lose focus...i eat whatever i can fit in my lil 1/2 cup of food and a piece of fruit for dessert...no rice...bread or pasta...but i eat everything else...

  16. i've been working 1 on 1 with another bandster...she was stuck...and counting everything!!!!!!!! i told her to stop...we bought the lil cups i eat out of...and she ate what i ate...she has lost 18 pounds since mid may!!!!!!!!! she was sooooo focused on counting this and that...setting goals...she lost focus...i told her to relax....and push it off day by day....she is doing great!!!!!!!!

  17. hey beautiful....i 4 surely need one!!!!!!! my insurance is covering most of it...i'm coming 3,000 out the pocket

  18. i got to goal in 11 months...:-)

  19. i've been stuck b4...i just stay off the scale...when i feel it in my clothes ...i will weight myself...it took me 4ever to go from 171 to 169...i thought my body was done at 171...that i had my plateau...all of a sudden i dropped from 169 to 165...but i let it happen...relax...i swear its going to happen...

  20. for the first 9 months after surgery i strictly power walked and eventually started jogging...in my 10th month i joined the gym..most of my exercise has been cardio...i had a tummy tuck in august to remove the extra skin from my tummy...i use the rotating stairs at the gym and my legs r pretty muscular except for the top inner portion of my thighs...my arms didnt turn out too bad...so they r last on my list...my exercise routine is pretty hard-core...but keep in mind i wasn't able to do this type of exercise immediately...i built myself up...i wasnt able to jog until i hit 180 pounds...

  21. thank u for the compliments...if u exercise hard and follow the rules in the begining ...ur post-up diet to a t...ur going to b at goal in no time...i was 29 when i was banded...ur age is definitely on ur side..4 the first 9 months after surgery...i power walked ...jogged and rode my bike...when i say power-walked...i mean it...no strolling...i added to my routine once a month...making my walks/jogs longer and longer...i lost most of my weight the first 9 months after surgery...in my 10th month i joined the gym...my routine is pretty harsh...and if u havent been exercising like i didnt prior to being banded i would start out walking

  22. my insurance covered a panniculectomy...which is just the removal of excess skin...i paid out of pocket for the mini tuck portion of my surgery...i'm not sure how much it would've cost without insurance.

  23. thank u...thank u...i got to spend this weekend with my husband...finally!!!!!!!!!! they were killing me with the whole swine flu thing...

  24. with the restriction i have right now...i cant eat unlimited anything...lol...i'm not sure how many ounces the cups r...i will look when i get home and let u know...i like egg salad for breakfast...or a boiled egg and a piece of string cheese...celery and pnut butter...tuna salad...i usually mix my veggies and chicken...like with the fajitas...the veggies r mixed with chicken...last week for lunch i had chicken and brocolli mixed in pesto sauce...she is walking 6 miles a day...i do more....but i built myself up slowly

  25. the girl i work with 1 on 1 was weighting herself everyday...she was getting so discouraged and frustrated...not eating enuff...getting depressed...eating the wrong thing...i literally took the scale out of her house...she weights herself every 4th week...is dropping 5-8 pounds a month...taking the scale away from her helped her to relax...and focus on losing weight
