  1. Hi: About the plastic surgery. Please ask your doctor to put in a pain pump. I forget the exact term for it, but my plastic surgeon used one. She puts it in while she's doing the surgery and it has very small tubes that go from a bottle of anesthetic (kind of the size of a baby bottle) to the area of your surgery on the inside. It was like a quick shot of numbing that I could control just prior to getting out of bed, or anything that I could plan that might cause pain. It only lasted for three days but it was truly a godsend. I think you look fabulous! Good luck with the surgery. I'm curious about why you're getting a panniculectomy and not a tummy tuck. I was able to get the tummy tuck with insurance coverage for the panni. So, I paid the difference for the additional time, etc. Best wishes to you with your plastic surgery.
