I'm new and should have been more clear. I was responding to the person singinintherain about heaviness in her/his legs.

I had my band on May 20 this year and I have had just the opposite reaction. I do not know how much weight I have lost, but I feel much lighter and more active. I hope nothing is wrong.

Hi Thor, I haven't had my surgery yet due to another problem, but my surgeon told me I would only lose 40 lbs the first year so maybe that normal.
