  1. Yes! I have had the pain: however, it is strictly related to how much and how fast I eat. My pain was unbearable and my doctor told me to go back to liquids and mushies, eat slowly and BAM! no pain!! It is deferred pain from your stomach irritation trying to digest square object through a round hole..... Go to small (1/3cup )mushie portions and it will go away that day. Usually I would wake up feeling great and no pain until 1 to 2 hours after eating. It is gone now. I have lost 12 pounds in 16 days
  2. I had my surgery on 2-25 and was eating salad on the 28th... ate pizza a week later, etc....however, I suddenly started getting really sharp pains in my back, shoulders, I was uncomforatable, I had a headache, etc. I thought perhaps it was some kind of creepy anxiety attack but my doctor said no, that I was over eating. It will catch up to you.... You will start feeling crappy and you won't understand why. I chose (was told by the doctor) to go back to liquids and mushies 1/3 cup at a time I feel so much better physically except for some hunger pains. I have lsot 12 pounds in 14 days!
  3. Hi, I was banded on 2-25-09 as well. It looks like we have the same weight loss goals, mine is slightly higher. I haven't even felt hungry since the surgery... However, I totally agree to step on the scale and not see a loss after 4 days.... well quite frankly I was totally disappointed just leaving the hospital looking the same!! LOL! Seriously i think this will work really well for me and I am going to start exercising again probably later this week. I am going back to work part time this week and then full time next week. I am hoping we can keep in touch and on track online. I am going to set up my tracker this week. I am 39, live in Sacramento, CA.
