  1. Hey girl, I started at 255lbs. So far it has been just a little over a year an I have only lost 50 lbs. I must add though that I do not have time to exercise. So all of this is just appetite control. I am sure if I had the time to exercise I would be hitting that goal of 80lbs or more. I am disappointed, but I know I am not using this tool to the full 100% yet. Once I get done with school I plan on hitting the gym. Also, just today I spoke with my Dr. who understands my extremely demanding schedule and has prescribed me Meridia. I will let you know how that goes if it adds to my weight loss and update you as soon as I see some results.

  2. i go to fill centers usa who uses the austin radiology clinic off braker lane + mopac. i am at my max now (only 9cc's) but at least now i feel some restriction. down to 209 now...very far from goal and at my max...but hopefully it will just keep coming off no matter how slow it is

  3. well to tell you the truth, my weight loss is slow going. but that is my fault. i am in school full time and work full time and have kids, blah blah u know the story so basically i have been working out none-minimal. if i would have the time to work out it really would increase my weight loss. i know when i do get into the habit it comes off faster. as far as what i am eating....i drink a protein shake in the morning. i dont have any bread or pastas (doesnt go down my band anyways). i like to eat any kinds of beans and protein meat like chicken or tuna togther. i eat alot of soups (usually progresso, they seem to taste the best to me). anyway before, i hated really eating healthy. but i have found stuff in all of these catagories that cater to my preferences (italian and mexican flavors). and really, when you feel sick and crappy after eating stuff you should't, it makes it motivation to stay away from the bad foods.

  4. thank you so much! every little bit helps...just gotta keep on truckin' :)

  5. thanks for the encouragement! i reaaaaalllly need it...my weight loss has gone so slow...but i'm like the turtle that wins at the end lol

  6. *sigh* i am just here looking at your pics for inspiration. this whole process is super slow for me and unfortunately i just had my last fill on Oct. 14th and now i am full in a 9cc band. i certainly feel restriction now, but it seems to take forever!!! i dont really have the time to exercise right now, which i know would be the key. but i'm trying not to get discouraged. i hope i can get to where u are one day :)

  7. Same thing here lady. Thank you for the pic comments. I am not doing well, I have fallen off the band-wagon so to speak. I started @ 255 and now 6 months later I am only @ 220. I have been absent from this site for awhile, came back to get some inspiration and motivation. I think I need another fill, stop drinking w/ my meals and up my protein again. I want to drop 10 lbs. by Oct. and then another 10 by thanksgiving to get me @ 200. You are very pretty, you can really see how much weight you have lost in your pics! congrats!

  8. twin!!!! i am so excited about your weight loss!! i havnt been on in awhile but i saw a post of urs in the feb 16th bandsters..i am losing weight at an incredibly slow pace...i was down to 218 but now back up to 220. it sucks, i came back on here to find the motivation and inspiration again....

  9. hey girl its been awhile since i have been on. back in school and still working full time. i am totally down right now about my weight...only at 220, i started at 255. going so slow. i came back here to get inspiration again, and get back on track. i need a fill really bad....im just down idk what to say

  10. ugh....super frustrated right now...just seem to be stuck here....i think imma just try to be comfortable being fat :(

  11. hey twin whats going on??? any progress?? i am kinda at a stand still again...better get to the protein...

  12. wow i think you answered all my questions n then some lol....now you have to give me all your secrets to weight loss success lol

  13. geeze sounds like alot to go through....hopefully it will be worth it in the end! congrats on those 3 lbs!

  14. Good Luck Today twin!! I hope all went well!

  15. so you gotta tell me why/what/who is bucktober :P

  16. Thanks for posting up my page! I appreciate it ;)

  17. Thanks for the add. You look so awesome, I hope I can have the same success ;)

  18. you will get there! you've lost so much already! i never thought i was going to get over that 230 hump...i was really frustrated. you'll look back and realize this is just a small bump in the road for you :)

  19. Oh man i know going back to that liquid diet is going to suck!! Good luck twin!! I wish you the best w/ ur procedure and hope everything is fine. I think it will be. At least look at the bright side, you'll prolly drop more weight again on that stage of the diet ;)

  20. well i will pray for you that all goes well. i hope its just something minor and easily fixable. as for me, i know i need to get back on track. i messed up this weekend when my friend came from out of town to visit, and i don't have any restriction so that didn't help. plus i havnt been exercising like i should. i know this is just a bump in the road for us...

  21. Well I totally suck....I got down to 228 and then gained it all back this past weekend. Kinda down and frustrated :( I wish I could just keep losing steady weight every week but its like a ball I keep bouncing back and forth...nothing permanent...

  22. you look wonderful!!! i must say you are a huge inspiration!!! how long has it taken you to lose all that weight? any help is appreciated!

  23. so tell me how ur 2nd fill went! my next is on May 2nd. Too long!!! lol. as far as the eating goes, I have been really good about not over eating, but my schedule switches around so much i don't stop eating everyday at a "set time" because of work. Some days I don't eat breakfast until 5:30p.m. before going to work. I started drinking my protein again and it took off those 4 lbs I gained before the 1st fill. I am just hoping soon my scale will show under 230.....it's been 4 years since then!

  24. Don't feel bad. I got my 1st fill at 6 weeks post-op and got 5cc's. I don't feel restriction either. I mean of course I don't eat as much as I used to, but I definitly eat more than I would like to. My Dr. said I can go in for another fill every 4 weeks so I have my next appt. scheduled for May 2nd. I hope that one finally gets me to my "sweet spot". Don't be discouraged, I am in the same boat as you!! And don't regret not getting bypass. Bypass is major major surgery, irreversible and you can gain your wait back plus you have maintenance of that too by taking B12 shots every month. Plus there are other serious complications and "dumping syndrome" that they get that we dont. It's true, our process is alot slower. But it took time to put the weight on, and it will take time to get it off. But at least we are doing it safely ;)

  25. Girl i' stuck at 230. Its pissing me off! I just got my protein in the mail though on Monday so I hope to see this weight start dropping soon. I need to get to workin out too. I want to drop 10lbs by May. Think I can do it?? I hope you reach your goal, but if you dont ur lookin bad ass already ;)
