Yep Jen, I was given a binder to wrap around my entire stomach area. I had one with my c-sections too. They feel really good.

Good luck to everyone tomorrow!
I went in for my 2 week post op appt. I learned that I have a 10cc band which he normally fills with 3cc during surgery. I got to feel where my port is, but still haven't seen the doctor. My mushies are progressing, so I'm looking forward to some other options. My first fill will be May 19th. I was also excited to learn that the office has later appts on Tuesday nights, so I won't have to take any more time off of work
Tomorrow will be a month since I took my pictures, so I took them today. I still have to take my measurements. Here they are. My first pictures are on page 5.

Thanks Mrs.Mitch!

Can someone add me to please? I can't seem to get it to work. I'd like to lose 18lbs. I might change my mind the closer we get.
-
Thanks Kaner! That's reassuring to hear you've had the same pain and that there's a good reason for it.
My next appt is on Tuesday. I am interested to see what my doctor and dietician will say. I have zero restriction so I'm looking forward to getting a fill already.

Thanks emjay! Fun to see we have similar numbers!
Are any of you having some major pain when you bend over top pick stuff off the floor? I have some serious pain in the muscle right by the port. I hope nothing is seriously wrong. I wear my binder at home, but not at work. Just curious...

So I'm past a week post op and ate some mushies. I also got brave and ate some chicken. No problems at all. I have no restriction though. I chewed the life out of it and it was fine. A bit scary though because I feel like I could eat anything. My first appt is next Tuesday. I haven't lost any more weight, but haven't gained either.

Random question, but I was just wondering. It sounds really good! Just wanted to know if popcorn is possible. TIA!

Welcome Kelly and Ttime! You'll love it here!

Happy Easter everyone! Sorry it's the end of the day. Hope everyone enjoyed it! I'll have to get some pics of my kiddos up here so you can see them

JayTee, congrats on already losing 38lbs! How'd you do it?
So I'm hungry tonight :cool2: That must be a good sign. Still lots of gas, but I can tell the difference between hunger and pain.

Thanks for the advice KMCD! It sounds like it's nothing permanent, so that's good.

Jersey, glad you were able to get banded!
How are all of the bunnies this morning? I am off of all pain med. Took my patch off too. Last night I experienced some major blurred vision. My eyes were totally dilated even in the light. It was pretty weird. It's better today. Anyone else experience that?
Also, are there any of you who just can't bring yourself to eat? I have NO hunger and only ate part of 3 of my liquid diet packets. I'm suppose to eat 6 of them.
-
Not as dilated today, but still kinda fuzzy in my eyes and head. Hopefully that's a sign it's getting better! I appreciate everyone's help. It kind of scares me. I will have to look and see what the name of my patch was. I never filled the script for more.

I forgot that I take Labetol too for high blood pressure. That and the Prevacid are the only things I took today. Now I haven't eaten much at all today and probably only 8 oz. of Water. I have zero appetite and feel soooo full all the time.
-
I was taking Reglan (sick) and Lortab (for pain). I haven't taken them since yesterda. I also took Prevacid this morning.
-
I am experience blurred vision and my pupils will not shrink when in the light. It's now night time and I am 3 days post op. Have any of you experienced this? Or does anyone know what this might be associated with?
Thanks! Andrea

Welcome all new bunnies! This is a great supportive group here!
I forgot to mention in my post this morning that I haven't been this weight since before I got pg with my first baby! And that was after being on Weight Watchers for a month. So exciting!
-
Thanks everybody! I was banded on Tuesday, April 7th. So I'm now 3 days post op.
-
Good luck to all of our Good Friday bandsters!
This morning I think I might feel a little better. So happy!
