Why can I still eat alot????
I was banded three weeks ago and feel the same way. I was told by the Doc, after the swelling goes down, some faster than others, that I am wide open to the larger part of my stomach. He said after the first fill I would feel some restriction. Cuz, Im hungry too! Hang in there!! Let me know if you have gotten your first fill. Mine isn't till the 17th!

stomach feels like it is on fire
How do you know if your band has slipped? Does that happen often? I have a really bad burning sensation if I move the wrong way or bend. It is not near an incision, it this just a nerve, that needs to heal? I am three weeks post op. No fever, everything else is great. All my incisions have healed great.

Help! I'm on fire!!!!
I have a nerve or something at least 5 inches from any incision, that if I bend or move the wrong way, feels like someone is holding a candle flame to my stomach!!! OUCH! It's hard to pick things up off the floor or move the wrong way. I was gonna mention it to the doc at 2 weeks post op, but it seemed to be calming down, but now it's HOT again! Any similar stories or pain. I am three weeks post op.:w00t:

Losing too much weight - for me
Good problem to have for once!?! Try lifting weights and building more muscle mass. It's good weight to gain. Or how about adding powdered protein to your meals, just sprinke it on. It has calories and will build muscle. You can find it at any health/nutrition store.

Am I Okay????
I'm 3 weeks post op...Feel great. I saw my doc this week. Worked out today...Felt good. But I am hungry and everthing goes down just fine. So, I am sticking to soft foods, like soft fish, pasta, cottage cheese, eggs, etc. But I can eat bread and chunky soup....Is that normal? Am I just a fast healer or am I messing things up???? Let me know??

Question about amount of food
Yeah, I'd steer clear of the cornbread this early on. If you hungry eat lots of small meals instead on one big meal. I hear until a fill it all slides DOWN!
