Any Insurance cover surgery in TX BMI 40 No comorbidities?

I want to know who's insurance covered the surgery for those who have a bmi over 42 and no comorbidities. I have a BMI of 44.41 and no comorbidities and my current insurance wont cover it so I am looking to switch to one that does. Otherwise I'll have to self finance. Responses to those in my situation beofre or now would help. Thanks. -

the doctors office just talked to them. They came back in the room and told me that there was an exclusion so i am not covered. I never eprsonally talked to them. I never got a denial letter it was just an over the phone thing. Should I just call them myself and ask what the exclusion is? -
Thanks i'll look into him. So did you self-pay or did your insurance pay for it. I went to a consult today and gave them my insurance to check out and they said there was an exclusion so I can't have it through insurance. How much does it cost with him?

I went for an individual consult today with them and I was denied by insurance so they said it was 15000 for it self-pay. I weighed in there and at 19yrs I weigh 250lbs with BMI 44. Hopefully I can get a loan or some type of financing to get it done by the end of this year.

Trust me I do. I weighed in actually today at a consult at 19yrs I weigh 250lbs and 5'3" with a BMI 44. Thankfully I dont have any medical problems yet.I am in Garland its in DAllas COunty.
