I got a fill yesterday. I have a 10 band and it is filled to 8. I have new hope and this forum is wonderful. Today I had 2 salads and a yogurt, and a low fat cheese stick. Of course I will expect to see a 10 lbs. loss tomorrow morning I feel better about myself already. Thanks Patti:thumbup:

Thank you so much! You are speaking the truth! I am better than I used to be , because a heel spur operation fixed not being able to walk too much. I can move around I go to the pool to exercise, just need to do it everyday. Felt like I just gave up but no more! Thanks for being here, PattiU

Hi , My name is PattiU I need support too. Congrats on your great loss. I just went back for a fill today and it was 1 year & 5 months since I went there, ate all wrong and gained back 4 lbs. I should have lost tons. I need to work this so that it works for me. I was banded Aug 2006. but I am starting over RIGHT NOW!!!! Thank You for being there. Patti All together I lost 11 lbs.

I'll say prayers for your daughter and you, My daughter had it years ago and is doing great, I should have had that I think, then I just would not have been able to eat! Patti

I was banded Aug 2005 . Through my own fault I lost some weight and gained some back. I fight the same 5 pounds up and down all the time. I must go and get a fill, and I am totally ashamed to go back to the doctor. So I had lost 23 and now went back up almost 10. I need to go back, start exercising, go to support group and get back on the ball. I am a failure. I need support and help. Patti

Well, it's Feb. now and although I did go down to 187, I am back up to 192. I hate myself so bad. I have gotten 3 fills, and I know the band is there because when I am really hungry, I eat too fast and the food gets stuck, it's very painful. I had foot surgery on Dec.15th and have not been able to exercise since. I can ride my bike now, but it is too cold. I am at a standstill and disgusted with myself. My friend who had her gastric bypass the same day I had this is down 96 lbs. That really made me depressed. I have no will power and really should have gotten that done. I ate right today but ate 2 cup cakes tonight. I pray I can get this right. I am ashamed:think that I did not loose more. My family wonders why. Patti

I was banded on Aug. 8th 2006. I have lost 20 lbs. mostly all of it right after the surgery. Now I really wish I went ahead and had bypass. I take 2000 mg. of Depakote a day for bi-polar. I know I need it cause I took myself off last year and felt like checking out! I thought I could lose weight not taking it. so my loss is very slow, I really need to walk every day, I really try to stay on my diet, but compared to what I used to eat, I don't get it. I am disgusted.:cry . I spoke to my doctor about it. we will have to see. Glad this board is here, who else could we tell?? Patti

Hi I was August 8th. all went well, I had a hernia in there he fixed. I lost 21 lbs so far and had 1 fill Sep. 28th. it's working. I just wish I could tell when I'm full before I feel stuffed! I tried all night to make this ticker hope it works! Patti U.
