I am so upset with myself, I have been stuck at the same weight for the last 3 months. I am having trouble eating more than I should and things that I shouldn't. Snacking after work is a major problem for me. Had the band put in July 08 and have lost a total of 80 lbs (30 pre op and 50 post op), but need to loose about 50 more. Any suggestions on what to do to get back on track?

Mine was just one day. The morning was an educational session on protien, exercise the proper foods to eat, how to eat how much to drink daily and so on. The afternoon was pre op testing, ex-rays, blood work and a visit with the surgeon

just read your blog, I think I am also addicted to food, I think about food almost all the time. My first thought of the morning is getting on the scales...I get off work and I tell myself I am not going to have a snack when I get home, but I always fail. So frustrating grandma too

I have had 3 fills and I am at 4 cc, not even close to the sweet spot because I can eat with no problems at all and think about food alot. I just had a fill on Tues and we thought we had it but unless the fluid settles in and it gets better I still have a ways to go. -
Hi, First time to this site. I had my band surgery july 17th of 2008. Started out on my journey to surgery in July of 2007, it took me a year to get insurance approval. Start weight was 316 current weight is 237, goal weight - not sure yet hopefully 180. Had my 3rd fill yesterday and doing great

I am so happy for you that you are getting your band tomorrw. I had mine done in July 08, everything went perfect, no problems at all, not much pain or discomfort. If you are like I was after surgery you won't even care if you eat for about the first 4-5 day. Make sure you get in your protien and liquids. Shame on your family for not helping you. Keep in touch and let me know how you are doing.
