I ate an entire cup of light yogurt before bed last night and I was fine! I feel like Im not getting what I feel I need. Im confused on how I should be treating myself. Truly, I dont feel like Im getting enough Water or food! Im calling my Dr. tomorrow to ask how he would like me to be eating since he took my fluid out. And I see him Thursday too. By the way, how are you sleeping. At first I was sleeping up right a lil bit but now Im on my back but I still dont feel comfortable. I tried my side but thats not happening! Well, take care:smile:

    Driving after surgery?

HI! I really hope you can find someone to drive you.....Personally I dont think its a good idea. Just going on drives after the surgery was kinda rough depending on the road. And Im 6th day post op and still dont feel like Im 100% ready to drive! If you didnt have to drive very far and you were staying the night in the hospital, then maybe, but you're talking about a 2 hour drive:( Good Luck, I really hope someone can give you a helping hand:smile:

    n00b!

Hi Mike! Im 5 days in and today is the first day I could call a good day. Everyone I know and have talked to said surgery and recovery were the easiest parts and I feel like either A) I was lied to. or :huh2: Im a horrible exception. I think its pretty hard. I've had 2 c-sections and I felt this was harder to recover from! I Posted about my 3rd day post op, you should read about that....obviously Im only barely in so if you have any more questions for me I will answer as best as I can:smile:

Hi Cathryn! When were you banded?
  10. Hi! I was Banded 1/13, so I guess that makes me a New Year's Hottie! Yay! Im so excited:biggrin:
  11. Hello, I was banded with my sister on Tues. 1/13/09. 3rd day post op was horrible. I woke up at 5:30 am feeling terribly nauseated. Long story short, I couldnt keep ANYTHING down. I threw up 4-5 times that day. My hubby finally called my Dr.'s exchange and Doc called immediately. He said that he would meet me at his office to take out Fluid from my band to give me relief. So we met him in his office at 8:30pm and he took out my fluid and some air. I felt much better! He said I was overly swollen and on top of the cc that was already in my band, I wasn't able to take anything down. So now, here I am 5th day post op and Im feeling kinda hungry. So far I've had broth, Protein shake, watered down cream of wheat, and crystal light and I've been fine! But I Still feel hungry! Any suggestions???? Thanks for listening, Elyssia:smile:

Me and my sister were banded one after another last Tuesday. Anyways, I was wondering if I could chew gas x! So thats fine? Thanks for listening, Elyssia
