Well I was Banded on New years Eve so I really don't fit in here or anywhere but oh well I started Soft foods yesterday and it had been nothing hell, it just goes staight through you need to be near a bathroom. Clear liquids was easy. -
I had a hernia repaired at the same time as my band so 2 weeks ago. All my co workers just think I fixed the bulge in the belly button. The band is as private as you want it to be remember it's yours.

Hello I am Scotty D and a New banded man as of Dec 31st 2008. I am on a whole new road and in the need of some help and guidence. I am not good at asking for direction and I would imagine that is how I found myself in the situation I was in in the first place. Anyway here we go and I am full steam ahead.

I am really no help here but I take Gas x at least 5 times a day for gas. I am newly banded and I am still fighting the gas problems.

Eating refried beans on full liquid diet?

This sound so good I have been craving a bean burrito from Taco Johns and I had visions of no onions or sauce and tossing the shell away and just eating the beans and cheese. It has been 11 days since my surgery. -
I was told No soda no beer omg. Well It will be ok. For me the giving up beer for the carbination is and has been the worst. I gave them all up back in oct 08 altough I just got banded on Dec 31 08 I had to give it up in order to make this happen for me. Well I believe in the long run it will be all worth it.

I am Scotty D a newly Banded Brother and very happy I have finally had it done. As of Dec 31st of 2008 I have started my new journey. Here we go.
