I am proud to say a month clean two weeks with the nicotin patch then i jst stop after 20 yrs. I always wanted to stop but i just couldnt bare to gain weight so when i knew i was sed. for the band i was more then happy to quit. I feel so much better. Why get the surgery and continue to smoke that is just crazt

OMG I JUST LOVE YOU. You express yourself well. Look its all about you now dont let your past bad experiences rain on your new found self. Enjoy life and all it has to offer and i n order to do that you must heal. It is sad that society treats people of larger size with such lack of respect but that is just how it is. Just make sure though you are droping the weight dont lose the important parts your sense of humor your zest for life. You welcome all the good your weight loss has brought and its your choice who to tell about your band and if you never tell well that is your choice. Dont be angrey just remeber those people that treated you less then you deserved and x them out of your life and always be you remember your weight is just a piece of you (shell )your inner beauty is what counts.

I am sed.for the 5th of Feb. 09. I was originally sed for the 28th of Jan. but due to a cold I had to re sed. I am now ready I just really would like to find a support group. I only have three days well Thur. at this time I will be on my way into surgery. I spend my Sunday morning in the ER. I was convinced I had kidney failure LOL. Only after hours of testing and two different Doctors was I convinced that I was ok. I have been so stressed out that I made myself sick. I just didnt want anything to stop my having surgery this week. So every pain I pay close attention too. I am just worried about the band getting infected / erroded. I just dont want to be one of those people that for one reason or another the band fails me. I am willing and prepared to do all that is in my power to assure success. I just fear those issues that I have no control of. Yes,believe it or not I did pass my phys. evaul. LOL.

thanks, But i wish that old saying whats on the inside is what counts were totally true no society will judge him when he applies for a job when he goes to school He looks like a fuc### mental patient. He is such a smart kid and I dont understand what possesd hin to put that big tatoo ON HIS NECK OMG he cant even hide it. This has put such a damper on my getting my surgery I should be excited but everytime I think of my son I cant help but to cry and I mean all out cry. Thank you both for your coments

Well I am havin issues my son is trying to drive me crazy. He doesnt want me to get banded he thinks he is the parent. He walk in my house with a huge tatoo o n his neck I almost died. He is 19 and oh so lost. I had to do some serious praying. I really think he does this shit to mess with me I love him but he is determined to screw his life up. I have tried everything I am still paying for his last bad descion. My mom says dont give him a reaction yeah like I can do that. I am walking on my treadmil had a good sweat and cry. I am taking care of me for once and I luv my son but he is grown I have to do me. It sounds good but I am hurting so bad for my son. I just knew it my surgery date was pushed back a week and a day. Yes next Thur. the 5th I am aliitle disapointed but i know its for the best this cold kick my ass and I wont even tell you all the issues those dam antibotics brought:scared2:. I know its for the best I need to be at 100% I know I will heal better /quicker. I am at home I took time off of work. I will take this next couple of days to take care of myself.
