Its about me now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !

Well I am havin issues my son is trying to drive me crazy. He doesnt want me to get banded he thinks he is the parent. He walk in my house with a huge tatoo o n his neck I almost died. He is 19 and oh so lost. I had to do some serious praying. I really think he does this shit to mess with me I love him but he is determined to screw his life up. I have tried everything I am still paying for his last bad descion. My

mom says dont give him a reaction yeah like I can do that. I am walking on my treadmil had a good sweat and cry. I am taking care of me for once and I luv my son but he is grown I have to do me. It sounds good but I am hurting so bad for my son. He is my only child and I need to get healthy because he is really going to need me after life kicks his ass. Next week at this time I will bw banded. Please God give me strength.

Thanks for your last comment yeh I need a sexy man by my side, funny my son got a tatoo too and i burst out crying...its a mum thing. Honestly it was the best decision of my life getting my banding all the best and I will say a prayer for you....

Life does give us those ups and downs with our kids. I'm just learning, like you, from my parents (they have 5 of us) that the parenting never ends, but we need to put ourselves on 'the list'. You can't be a strong role model if you're not there for him as a healthy happy mom. Remember the 'outside' isn't what's most important, it's what kind of person he becomes as an adult...he's just not there yet. I remind myself of that daily as I have 2 teens and a 21yo. My DS 18yo is constantly reminding me that he's now an adult and can do what he wants...yeah right. My DD 21yo is just turning the corner now, so hang in there, change is inevitable. I know I always hope a tenth of my values and what I've tried to teach them sticks...my mantra I've ingrained in them is "Life is about choices and the results, or consequences" (they hate it, but I hope it's a 'sticker'). They'll sometimes get consequences...we all do (it's just so hard to watch those as a parent). ((HUGS))

thanks, But i wish that old saying whats on the inside is what counts were totally true no society will judge him when he applies for a job when he goes to school He looks like a fuc### mental patient. He is such a smart kid and I dont understand what possesd hin to put that big tatoo ON HIS NECK OMG he cant even hide it. This has put such a damper on my getting my surgery I should be excited but everytime I think of my son I cant help but to cry and I mean all out cry. Thank you both for your coments

mymy, We're mom's that's what we do....cry, get pissed off, want to slap the stupid off them, and at the same time love them with all our hearts. I'm sorry he lost his mind and OMG got a tatoo on his neck, but at the same time we are no good for our children if we don't take care of ourselves too. YOU should still be very happy for yourself....it's an exciting thing. You are fixing to change your life, for the better and you deserve it. Wishing the best for you!!!!!!!! hey, thanks for t nice words on my blog. your son sounds alittle like me. i may be angry at this point in my life but believe me when i tell you this. when you start loosing weight, things in your life will start to fall into place. for example, my grades in college were low b's and c's, after i came back after summer.....my grades skyrocketed. meaning,,,,,once you have control of YOU, other tings and people will fall into place. and since im a psych major, i have to say, yoer son may not want you to get the surgery because on a unconscious level.....he is afraid for you.
