i was banded on jan 7 and must have had the best dr.....i made dinner for my husband today and showered. i have been on computer alot today researching......a little hard to cough but needed very little pain med at all

I had to do a 6 month supervised diet for my insurance. It takes awhile,but hang in there. To be honest I think they do that to see how bad you want this.alot of people quit. My insurance let me use Weight Watchers. Check on that I used my primary care doc the 1st month. My insurance would not pay the visits. For me WW was about $50.00 cheaper than the Doc was per month. So I had to start all over after my 1st month. So be sure to check on that. I was banded wed. 1/7/09 after 9mo. SO hang in there. Its a long process,but it will be worth it in the end. M -
Hey all, I found this site right before my surgery. I was banded wed. I am so tired. It seems like between trying to get all my fluids/proteins in(which I am not) I'm getting almost 1/2. I'm just tired,no energy. Very sore,I feel like I just had a baby. Has anyone felt like this. I've had alot of gas in my chest and shoulders. But I just can't believe how tired I am. My husband ask me this morning if I had any regrets. My reply was this will pass. I'm walking to try to get the gas to pass everytime I get up. I'm taking all my vitamins. Can I do anything else to try not to be so tired. Thanks,M

Hey all, I am being banded Wed. 1/7 I'm very excited. It's taken since April 08 to get to this point. Insurance.... I've been over weight all my life,or shall I say morbid obese. I'm out to lose a body lol. I hope my next 40 years are skinny and wonderful. M
