  1. I had my surgery on 11/17 and I did lots of research prior to my surgery about the surgery. I didn't do any research about the fills.

My first fill was on 12/23 and 3 cc's. What a fool, I was so looking forward to food for the first time that week and immediately had to go back on liquids with the fill. I had a hard time keeping my food down for the first couple of weeks. Bad fill, poked 7 times by the doc in his office...that hurt.

2nd fill was 1/19 in the xray department (didn't want poked 7 times again). I got 3cc's but I couldn't keep the water down. The doc removed 1.5 cc's and I kept the water down but haven't kept any food down since. It's been three weeks. I travel with my job M-F so it's hard to go back to see him so I need to know....is having a hard time keeping food down normal and will it subside soon just as it did with my first fill?

I swear I'm eating slowly and small bites. I read that drinking mint tea would settle the stomach if I drank it 1/2 hour before a meal...this doesn't work either. I can only keep down protein shakes, liquid, and mushy foods.

HELP! I paid for the surgery myself, I'd hate to pay to have the band removed or refit.
