Thank you so much for writing back and in such detail! I think I will check out that juice plus. I actually need to work on getting my protein in more. That's a lot harder than I thought. I have hit a couple plateaus already and I noticed its always at least a week and a half right before I'm scheduled for my fill. Thank you for the compliment also. Like I tell everyone, I just carry my weight very well. I have had a lot of people ask me why I even got the surgery and I had to explain that for one I'm kinda tall and proportionate so even though I don't look that bad in their eyes, I did start off 90lbs over weight with a bmi of 39. I want to be healthy and I wanted to do something about my weight before it was too late and before I started getting serious complications. I do appreciate all your advice and suggestions. I will definently keep you updated on my progress and maybe one of these days we can meet up. Again thank you and talk to you soon!

Well i'm taking my hubby to the autorama car show in dallas during the day and then we're going to dinner (not sure where i just know i'm getting steak!) i'm taking advantage of this high protein diet!! lol. Nothing too special but i feel like you the lap band is my present! Well drive safe and let me know how it goes!

Thats so weird right before I got my fill I gained back 4 lbs too! The fill will help trust me. I hit a little plateau too, I'm ranging between 217-219 right now. We finally got our taxes today so hopefully by the end of the week I can get my elliptical. You look great though in your new pic you posted!!

The cake went down fine actually a little too fine, but I only ate a little slice. When do you go back to work?

The shrinko de mayo challege is basically you set a personal goal that you want to meet by May 5, mine was to lose 15 lbs, which is proving a lot harder now that I'm losing my restriction again. I hope when I go for my fill on thursday, I'll start losing again.

ur gorgeous!! congrats on the transformation. I can't wait until I get to that point. If you don't mind me asking, what was your starting weight and what are you currently? And did you do anything extra or did you just do exactly what the docs said?

Well **happy dance** for you for your weight loss!! yay!! I just got back from my post-op appt and I've lost another 4.5 lbs according to their scale so that makes my total weight loss to 13.5 lbs. I like my mother-in-law's scale better lol. I found out I can eat pasta (overcooked) and mashed potatoes and soft veggies and fruits today. They took of my steristrips except for one. Its really stuck. I'm so excited about all of this. I hope ur doing good

Well as for the gas pains they said gas x... that doesnt' really help too much for me. My family is too far away (thank you army) My parents live in florida and my older sister lives in georgia. My mom was going to fly out for my surgery but my hubby told her he could take care of me. My whole family is very supportive of the band its just his mom lives 20 mins from us .

Well he gave me a choice either a 7 day liquid diet or a 14 day high protein low carb/fat diet. I chose the 14 day diet so that I was still able to have valentine's day dinner w/my hubby. As for after surgery I was very sore at the port incision and I have gas pains in my shoulder and chest. I feel a lot better today but still a little sore. Dr. Smith is wonderful trust me.
