  2. I'm actually doing a little better, almost 40lbs down total. This last fill I think put me where I needed to be. I'm literally eating about 4oz each meal. While I'm at work I drink my protein. Also... my shoulder pain isn't so bad. I think that it was telling me that I needed to stop eating.

  4. Yea I just got back actually. They didn't find anything. They wanna do an mri on my shoulder and if they don't find anything that way they wanna do a scope through my navel. It sucks. The only positive was that I lost 3 more lbs!!

  5. I hope so, I've been between 215-217 for the last month now. I wanna see 199 already before the end of July.

  6. Hey chica!! Congrats on your 5lbs!! That's so exciting! Yea I actually start my 4 day liquid diet for my EGD on Tuesday. I wish they would've given me another fill. I was supposed to have one on Monday but they moved it to the week after that now. The next 4 days are gonna be hard. :( Wish me luck!!

  7. Hey LadyDiva, thank you and I've lost about 32lbs so far. I haven't expierenced any hair loss but I was told from my doctor that as long as you get your protein in then you should be fine. Trust me I make sure I get that in!! Good luck tomorrow with your doctor. I'll be honest, I have no regrets so far. The only small complication I'm having right now is left shoulder pain when I eat. Other than that, this was the best decision I ever made. :) Keep in touch!

  8. Aw I'm so sorry to hear that. Yea I have to be honest, I thought this would make things a little easier and it doesn't seem so. I've noticed when I eat I've been getting these pains in my left shoulder. I mentioned it to my doctor during my last fill and now they want me to have and EGD on the 12th. I'm kinda nervous about it but its getting to the point of being really annoying. Also my weight loss has again stalled. I keep bouncing between 214-217 again. I got my wii fit and its fun. I'm trying to do that everyday but thats proving a lot harder with work and life getting in the way. Thanks for checking in with me. Don't worry we'll get through this. I'm still keeping faith that next year this time we'll look back at this u kno. Later chica!

  9. Thank you so much for writing back and in such detail! I think I will check out that juice plus. I actually need to work on getting my protein in more. That's a lot harder than I thought. I have hit a couple plateaus already and I noticed its always at least a week and a half right before I'm scheduled for my fill. Thank you for the compliment also. Like I tell everyone, I just carry my weight very well. I have had a lot of people ask me why I even got the surgery and I had to explain that for one I'm kinda tall and proportionate so even though I don't look that bad in their eyes, I did start off 90lbs over weight with a bmi of 39. I want to be healthy and I wanted to do something about my weight before it was too late and before I started getting serious complications. I do appreciate all your advice and suggestions. I will definently keep you updated on my progress and maybe one of these days we can meet up. Again thank you and talk to you soon!

  11. So my 2nd fill was a lot better, definently didn't hurt as bad as the 1st one. I'm not really feeling as much restriction as I thought I would, but I'll really be able to tell when it comes time to eat more solid food. Congrats to you on losing that 4lbs! I do believe you will make it under 230 very soon. It is more difficult since your schedule is very hectic but I still think you can do it. Talk to you soon!

  13. Hey Jessica, first off congrats on your date! As for my work out, I try to go to the gym as often as possible...lately its only been about 2-3 times a week :( but when I go I do a combination of areobic and weight training. You should check out this site Body-for-LIFE thats where I got my work out from. As for foods, I stay low carb/fat and high protein, my doctor had me do that on my 2 week pre-op diet and I lost 9lbs, so i figure with the band it'll help more too. I hope that helps.

  14. Thank you Debbie for checking up on me. Congrats on your 34lbs!!! I've gained back a couple pounds but I'm noticing a pattern, I gain right before my fill. I get my 2nd fill on tomorrow. I go to the gym with my husband at least twice a week. We try to go more often but by the time we both get off from work we're so tired. I think you're doing great. I told myself I wanted to lose 15lbs by may 5 bringing my down to 207 but it doesn't look like I'm going to make it. I hope that fill kinda jump starts the weightloss again :)

  15. First off, thank you and you know that your just as bad ass!! (twins...both of us are hot together!!) I definitely think you can lose 10lbs by May. Do you know how much you're eating during the day? And how late to you eat your last meal? I try (key word) try not to eat after 7.

  16. Hey my twin!! How are you? thanks for the pic comments :) So I get another fill this week and guess what... i gained a couple pounds again.. I'm seeing a pattern now lol. I just really want to get under 200 before the summer time, I need to start working out more though. I hope ur doing good. Hugs!!

  20. The shrinko de mayo challege is basically you set a personal goal that you want to meet by May 5, mine was to lose 15 lbs, which is proving a lot harder now that I'm losing my restriction again. I hope when I go for my fill on thursday, I'll start losing again.

  21. Wow... thank you for actually responding with a detailed answer!! Your work out plan is very doable. My DH is getting that P90X workout and its about muscle confusion, pretty much the same thing you're doing with your work out. You're my new motivation :)

I'm doing pretty good, I stalled at 219 for about 2 weeks and weighed myself today and I'm down to 216 so that makes me down 31lbs :) I'm doing the shrinko de mayo challenge, trying to lose 15 lbs by 5/5 bringing me down to 207, you should do it with me!

  25. I was pretty sore for about a week. What helped me was to keep moving, walking a lot and of course my pain meds :). I do hope you feel better and congrats on being banded.
