  2. Thank you so much for writing back and in such detail! I think I will check out that juice plus. I actually need to work on getting my protein in more. That's a lot harder than I thought. I have hit a couple plateaus already and I noticed its always at least a week and a half right before I'm scheduled for my fill. Thank you for the compliment also. Like I tell everyone, I just carry my weight very well. I have had a lot of people ask me why I even got the surgery and I had to explain that for one I'm kinda tall and proportionate so even though I don't look that bad in their eyes, I did start off 90lbs over weight with a bmi of 39. I want to be healthy and I wanted to do something about my weight before it was too late and before I started getting serious complications. I do appreciate all your advice and suggestions. I will definently keep you updated on my progress and maybe one of these days we can meet up. Again thank you and talk to you soon!

  3. Finally I dropped another pound. I really don't think that I'm going to make my goal of 15lbs but I'm going to keep trying.

    Any February 16th bandsters?

    Good Morning Everyone! I'm happy to report I'm down to 215 today! That fill really did the job for me. I also finally got my wii fit this weekend. I'll be trying it out tonight when I get home from work. I'll let you all know how that goes. I don't think I'm going to make my goal of getting to 207 by May 5th but a loss is still a loss so I'mma try my best not to get too frustrated. I hope everyone else is doing good. Can't wait to hear from you all!!

  6. So my 2nd fill was a lot better, definently didn't hurt as bad as the 1st one. I'm not really feeling as much restriction as I thought I would, but I'll really be able to tell when it comes time to eat more solid food. Congrats to you on losing that 4lbs! I do believe you will make it under 230 very soon. It is more difficult since your schedule is very hectic but I still think you can do it. Talk to you soon!

    Any February 16th bandsters?

    Hey everyone! So I had my 2nd fill today and boy did I need it! I haven't lost anything in the last 2 weeks. I keep going between 216 and 219 and it sucks. So I got 1.5ccs today hopefully that will help. I hope everyone else is good. :rolleyes2:

  9. Hey Jessica, first off congrats on your date! As for my work out, I try to go to the gym as often as possible...lately its only been about 2-3 times a week :( but when I go I do a combination of areobic and weight training. You should check out this site Body-for-LIFE thats where I got my work out from. As for foods, I stay low carb/fat and high protein, my doctor had me do that on my 2 week pre-op diet and I lost 9lbs, so i figure with the band it'll help more too. I hope that helps.

  10. Thank you Debbie for checking up on me. Congrats on your 34lbs!!! I've gained back a couple pounds but I'm noticing a pattern, I gain right before my fill. I get my 2nd fill on tomorrow. I go to the gym with my husband at least twice a week. We try to go more often but by the time we both get off from work we're so tired. I think you're doing great. I told myself I wanted to lose 15lbs by may 5 bringing my down to 207 but it doesn't look like I'm going to make it. I hope that fill kinda jump starts the weightloss again :)

  11. First off, thank you and you know that your just as bad ass!! (twins...both of us are hot together!!) I definitely think you can lose 10lbs by May. Do you know how much you're eating during the day? And how late to you eat your last meal? I try (key word) try not to eat after 7.

  12. Hey my twin!! How are you? thanks for the pic comments :) So I get another fill this week and guess what... i gained a couple pounds again.. I'm seeing a pattern now lol. I just really want to get under 200 before the summer time, I need to start working out more though. I hope ur doing good. Hugs!!

  20. The shrinko de mayo challege is basically you set a personal goal that you want to meet by May 5, mine was to lose 15 lbs, which is proving a lot harder now that I'm losing my restriction again. I hope when I go for my fill on thursday, I'll start losing again.

    Am I overfilled?

    Hey Franny, congrats on your weight loss to date. It sounds like you have the same problem as me and I gurantee you're probably eating too fast. This is such a hard habit to break (easier said than done, I know!) One thing that has kinda helped me is to cut a small bite and when I put the food in my mouth I put my fork/spoon down! I kinda hinders the urge from wanting to put more food in my mouth while trying to get the existing down. Also make sure your bites are small! My doctor said that size should be about the size of your thumbnail and naturally chew, chew, chew. If you have tried all of that and are still having problems getting food down, then I would call your doctor. Good luck to you and keep in touch!
  23. Wow... thank you for actually responding with a detailed answer!! Your work out plan is very doable. My DH is getting that P90X workout and its about muscle confusion, pretty much the same thing you're doing with your work out. You're my new motivation :)
