thanks for the pic comment!! im glad to know im not the only girl who got their dude's name tatted on them...lol i will admit i had to wait until after my name was on his neck and a portrait of my face with "forever my lady" on his upper arm was there first...thennnnn i broke down and got the lil medium sized heart on my back..lol lol

lol good one danbar....surgery in the parking lot...i was cracking up when i read that one!!!!! and the person who started this blog is right about the insurance companies...i was recently approved for the band..but today...i went off on farmers auto insurance b/c i pay addtil for rental reimbursement..and the damn claims adjuster didnt want to pay for a rental up to my max of 900...well i got on the phone..yelled, and put the "a" word in there...(attorney) and he huffed..and said "jus fax me the bill ill take care of it"...i mean come on now..thats why i chose that optional coverage...b/c i knew that if i was to get in an accident i wouldnt have money sittin around for a damn car rental plus scrape up money for a down pmt on a new one....duh!!!! but with all this being said....u definitely dont hear anything about the insurance companies gettin a bailout from the government....they know how to hold on to their money!!! lol

Anyone with Lockheed Martin and Aetna get approved

aetna covers wls..u just need to verify if lockheed martin accepts to cover....if ur hubbys current insurance with lockheed covers WLS that means lockheed allows it...aetna as an insurance company pays for it, if the company they have a contract with allows it in their policy as a whole....lockheed is a big company and big companies usually cover WLS... -

nothing is really coming yet....i just got approved by aetna so now im just waiting on a band date.....how much more are u trying to loose or are u finished?

aren't u soo happy that stuff is over with.....(for the most part) b/c i am....i was on the 90 day thing with aetna but after its all said and done its takin me about 6 mnths anyways....but congrats to u on getting approved and jumping over the insurance hurdle!

well first off...congrats on being THE CHOSEN ONE...lol i would feel honored to be asked to be maid of honor...now i see u said that u now fit into a 20 dress...now if the wedding is in october and if u and the band are working together...especially with the exercising and all..i would say you should shoot for a size 18...maybe even a 16 to really push yourself..but i wouldnt get the size u currently are right now..b/c if ur doing things right...you should be down ATLEAST one dress size in 5 months...this is just my opinion....good luck with ur decision....!

hey miss meliss, no date yet, just an approval from insurance....i dont get to meet with my surgeon til early june, at that time i will schedule...and im sooo happy for your loss u did perfect with ur weight loss, it didnt come off too fast or too slow..it was steady and u look awesome, and so happy!!!

i agree with gonna loose it....u will be fine..as long as u have the other months they will approve you...a complete idiot would have to deny your submission just because one year is missing. You still have evidence of 4 other years where most of them ran consecutive.....let us know the results!

Hello sstar and angie..im not from ohio...but i fly there often...columbus or cincy...my fiance is from chilli directly south of columbus....would like making some band friends out there...... not yet banded still waiting to schedule surgery...

thanks for the wishes ladies....and i was just like you all...i soo knew i was going to be declined...but i really believe it has alot to do with the staff that are working for you...luckily the people i worked with knew how to handle my case and many other's b/c insurance paid procedures bring more money to them...so if i was the doc's office i would do whatever i could to get patients approved to make money for the doc office...Make sure before they submit it off they run everything by you on what they are about to fax over...tell the people who submit to call u with the reference and or auth# so that you call and blow up the insurance company on your own..etc...when ur people say they submitted wait like 3 hours after and call ur insurance company and verify they rcvd...ya know stay on top of stuff.. When i spke with the lady at aetna for my emloyer's group she made it seem like they dont even really go over my charts to see what i was eating and if i was practicing exercising...she made it seem like all they really look at was the consultation bmi, past two years bmi, and if u have tried to loose weight before...and a summarization from either ur pcp/nurse practitioner or surgeon, stating why or if u need bariatric surgery...my NP from the diagnostic center i went to knew how to word things and make her summaries very convincing...
