Hi All I attended my psych appointment on Friday, luckily I was able to see the surgeon a couple of hours after. I was very excited. I have to lose 20 more lbs before surgery. I am really going to have to get on top of the ecercise routine. I want to achieve this goal as soon as possible. Well I wanted to update the group. Thank you all for your well wishes.

Thanks Tina. Christine I think I'll take you up on the accountability team. We checked on FB and lets keep doing that. I have dusted myself off and I'm getting back on track. LOL. I hate the time of the month. I called Kelly but she was out for the week, so I left a message for her. Hopefully she'll call me on Monday as I am so done waiting :-).

Thanks Tina. I will call them this week. I was born in Ghana, West Africa, that's what prompted me to ask which part of Africa you were going. I hope you have a lot of fun.....

LOL Riley I hear you! It only makes sense to adapt to high protein since it appears to be the success to losing when banded.

Congratulations Swrktp on losing 8lbs. Riley, I have omitted some of the carbohydrates from the meals, i.e. breakfast I have eggwhite omlettes with bell peepers and mushrooms and low carb yougurt. I don't always eat the carn at lunch eitherm however I do eat the fruit in the afternoon. Also I found these dried applecrisps(35 calories) and no suger added at Costco, they taste great. I think most of us can all agree that carbs are our nemesis :-).

Congratulations Tera!! How much weight have you lost now and in what time span? The 1200 calorie is good but you have to tweak it a bit. I hope you get there soon :-).

Insideout: My orientation was fine. Lots of information , but nothing I didn't know before going in. Some of the questions were ridiculous, and obviously those people were not prepared to take these steps. We saw a video of the two LB and RNY, I was convinced at the end of the day that LB is going to be my choice of procedure. Pretty good overall! Momcof: Thanks for the insight, my fear is the hunger part and the fact that the LB doesn't curb that. I'm wondering if they can do the fill sooner. So you are allowed a snack?

Momcof3, How are you doing with your food intake? Do you really feel as full as they say?

LOL, we can all teach them a thing or two at this point. My class argued about smoking and alcohol as well. I must say it got on my last nerves. The thing is if they can't give give those few things up then this is not the program for them.lol
