  1. You are fine. Just go back on liquids. good luck.
  2. I totally agree with her. I am 5'8 tall with a goal weight of 185. My goal was size 16. Well, I am 213 right now and I'm in a 16. I went to PS and he said I was ready for my TT and thigh lift. He told me that 30 more lbs loss will not affect the TT as he pulls it so tight. That will most likely put me at goal of size 14. If I'm a 14 after surgery and still weight 205 or so I may just stop losing weight. For me, it was just getting to a certain size. I look really good at that size. Not sure if I'll ever get to 185. I am too tight with my band right now too so I can't wait to get a slight unfill for surgery. We'll see how the hunger goes. Julie
  3. I took 4 days plus the weekend off.
  4. This is only my opinion. Things will change drastically when you get good restriction. If I could have done it all over again, I would have stayed on normal foods enjoying all my favorite foods up until surgery. Another way to look at it is, if you want to lose weight then I would eat 1200 calories a day. Either way, you can enjoy all your favorite foods.
  5. When I stretched after surgery the only thing that pulled slightly is where my port site is. I didnt have any chest strain.
  6. I went in for my preop today and he told me he would probably take about 7-10 lbs off of my abdomen. That is amazing. He is also going to remove probably close to 1 lb per thigh. I can't wait to be down a size! He prescribed me 4 drugs. One for anxiety presurgery, Valium ( I get upset before surgery). One for antibiotic, one for pain and one for nauseau. How is everyone else coming along?
  7. on 4/21. I am looking forward to it.
  8. Brandy, best of luck to you. I go in for my TT and TL
  9. Remember that estrogen in our fat plays a huge roll on your TOM. When you have fat removed I would think it would take some time for your body to catch up. Hopefully soon!
  10. I went in for my preop appointment today. It went really well. Said he would be taking off like 7 lbs of fat from my abdomen and almost a lb from each thigh. I can't wait!
  11. Good luck on your consults. My surgery is scheduled for 4/21. TT and Thigh lift.
  12. First of all, I haven't been a size 14 since High School which was over 20 years ago. I am going to get a tattoo on my lower back very soon. I am close enough to goal to enjoy. My PS is scheduled for 4/21. Julie
  13. Best decision I ever made. I just wish it was available earlier in the US so I could have done it sooner.
  14. WW is a great plan. I did find that I wasn't losing on too many points. I knocked it down to 20 points and did quite well. 20 pts is 1k calories a day. So it worked out to a out 1200 with the extra points.
  15. Fran, send us pics when you heal. Congrats. My TT is 4/21. How is the pain?
  16. If you are eating 3/4 cup of food and not satisfied and getting hungry quickly then yes you need a fill.
  17. Hi Jill, my doctor charges $200 for a fill. I just started to get them covered on my insurance.
  18. Steph, don't you hate it when you look and feel good and believe you are goal the doctors say no because your BMI isn't right? I am 5'8 so we are close in size. My lapband surgeon and I agreed that 185 would be a really good weight for me. I think the BMI is about 27 or 28% at that level. Weight Watchers as me about 162 or so. I look emancipated at that weight. Tried that before. I am currently in a size 16 at 218. I am totally fine with getting to 185-200 and a size 14. I am actually ready for plastic surgery already. I go in 4/21 for my tummy tuck and thigh lift. Listen to your body. If you feel great at 175 why battle the ups and downs of trying to maintain a lower weight. Just my 2 cents. Julie
  19. Apparently she really suffered too. Wonder if they will get off?
  20. Hi Lauren, my surgery is scheduled for 4/21. The PS said I am a perfect candidate for the tummy tuck. I was also excited that the thigh lift will not be cutting down the inner thigh but rather tucked at the top. I am now in a size 16 and I'm hoping to get in a 14 or 12. Wish me luck!
  21. What a rip off. My doctor is $200 a fill.
  22. Sounds like my situation was the same as yours. Mine came off in the shower very slowly when the initially partialy came off by themselves.
