  3. Thank you. Consistent due to the fact that I changed my life and made this my 100% priority. 100 lbs in 10 months. I exercise 2-3 hours a day, very hard. Eat well, have a good attitude, realized that food is not my best friend. Most of the success of the band is your mental attitude and listening to your body as well as getting fills and staying consistent. Realize what you should and shouldn't be eating. Have willpower.

  6. Thank you so much. That is very nice of you to say. I work hard at it and have lost 92 lbs in 8 months. I love it, love it, love it. I don't care about food at all anymore, I am addicted to making myself look my best. Best to you, Rachel

  7. Thank you! I work super hard at it...I workout 3 hours a day and am very strict. You can do it too! Let me know if you need any help, tips, motivation, etc...Rachel

    How do you know??

Well first of all, you should think about your food choices. You likely aren't 'starving'. It is typically in your head. Eat foods that fill you up, not carbs that turn into sugar. You need good, healthy protein. You don't have many cc's in your band and therefore you definitely are not at your sweet spot, which is why you are able to eat what you ate, but try during this time to take care of yourself and focus on good eating. You need to do the work for you. The band will work with you. I am sure you haven't stretched your pouch, you would fill pain if it slipped or stretched and to answer your question, yes, you are hurting yourself. You are hurting yourself by going back to old habits. You came this far and got the band, so why not work with it? Not trying to be harsh at all, just sometimes people need a wake up call/reality check. Try not testing yourself by seeing what you can eat. Focus on good eating, good exercise and eventually this will all fall into place.

80 lbs down. My new fur earmuffs...LOVE!!

I didn't inform anyone that I posted a new pic. I make those earmuffs look yummy? Wow...thank you! Glad you like the picture. Soon I will be taking some in my grannie panties and post them.
  14. Agree with Jim and Jachut. I have lost 75 lbs in 6.5 months. I am 35, active and changed my life and now weigh 189. I exercise for 2-3 hours a day, eat 2 small meals a day and am very strict. It is impossible to lose that small amount of weight in 6 months. Even if someone weighed 125 and did what you say you are doing, they would lose weight. The band is a tool, not a magic solution. You need to do your part as well and if you say you eat well and exercise, you don't eat well enough nor exercise enough. If the people on the Biggest Loser show who weigh quite a bit and exercise that hard, so can anyone else. Get your mind in the game and be honest with yourself.
  15. Hey Meg! Was thinking about you and how you are doing. Haven't been on LBT for a while, but wanted to check in. Let me know how you are...Rachel

    Oct. 23, 2009-down 65 lbs.

Thanks, Subs. Down 73 lbs in 6 months. I will have a new pic after Thanksgiving. Loving it. In a great place now, super excited. How are you??
  19. Hey, I am basically at 6 months as well. On the 11th it will be 6 months. You are right, time has flown! Feel like yesterday I was just getting my band or preparing. I am 68 lbs down. I am working super hard at exercising and that has made my body change immensely. Look at my most recent picture. I am so fortunate that my body is strong, firm and I feel so much better. Not sure how far I am from goal, as I don't know at this point what my goal is. I will see as I continue to lose weight. Glad you are well...Rachel
