Hi Tracy, I used to live in the DC area. I've been banded for 10 weeks now. I"ve had one fill and will have another fill this week. Hopefully this one will give me more restriction, I'm able to eat too much right now thus slowing down my weight loss. Let me know when you're banded

Im pissed about my weight loss too! I had 2 fills and you're right, I also lost steadily before getting fills. Since I've gotten fills, I've only lost 3-4 lbs in 6 weeks. I plan to start to exercise more and longer,eat less, and drink more water.....We'll see

glad you popped in on me. Im doing ok. I got in about an hr ago from bowling. I've had a tiring day too. I deal with one perticular female hater and she kinda got to me today. Im losing weight and she is trying hard not to let me outdo her. she doesn't know my secret, but she suspects. she is walking miles every day, working out every day, and water arobics twice a week and I havent seen any weight loss. she says to me, YOU LOOK LIKE YOU'RE GETTING SMALLER AND SMALLER. and I say umm, it must be inches. I've only lost about 32 lbs. what will happen when I lose 50 lbs. she's going to hate on me for sure. talk to you later!

Hello! It's nice to have you on my friends list. My surgery was Aug.4th I had my first fill last wednseday Sept.16th. like you, I have slowed down too and really need to pick back up on my weight loss. even after my fill, I can still eat without getting full. I just stop myself from eating too much. I've promised myself that I will get more active this upcoming week. How can you add me to your friends list. we will talk soon

Heng in my girlfriend, We did it! I had no problems and it does seem to get a little better each passing day. but the gas pain and reflux feeling in my throat is causing some discomfort. But not to complain, it will get better with time. How are you? Let me hear from you. my hubby,children and grand children are a big help and Im getting spoiled.

hey girl, I read what you told lady-t, about not being afraid of the surgery, and about getting all worked up about it. because im doing the same thing, getting all worked up because of what Im hearing some say. I needed to hear those words fromone. thanks much, you're the only one that I've heard say dont be afraid, and dont get worked up........THANKS!!

hey guys, If you have already had your surgery, was it hard for you to go to sleep the night before going to the hospital? I'm one week away from having mine and I cant even sleep now. I'm too anxious and nervous. It seems as if im waking up every 30 minutes thinking about it. Let me know how you dealt with it.

hey, Im doing good. this gas is just hanging on long than I thought or hoped. how did you get rid of yours? anyway, you seem to be moving faster than I am because I wont get a fill untill after the first week in September. so far not getting hungery and Im slowly regaining my strength. I hope it all comes back soon beacause Im ready to get back my usual activities LOL.
