  1. Ever since I was able to eat food, I think that I have eaten too much. Our plateau is the same. No weight loss in 4-5 weeks. I definately need to find out more about the pouch test.
  2. So do I Cindy, I go in for fill number 2 tomorrow. I can eat a lot of food, and Im talking portions and not oz's. I hope to get better restriction this time, but not too tight. <a href="http://www.TickerFactory.com/weight-loss/wz7PEQQ/" target="_blank">

Yes it will be hard to go to sleep tonight. I know it was for ME. Some how, You will get through this and you will look back and ask yourself "WHY DID I WORRY SO MUCH?" prayers will be with you. It's a normal feeling(gitters) <a href="Weight Loss - Diet Ticker target="_blank">

    surgery tmw!

Good Luck to you all! I had my surgery 08-04-09 and remember being exactly where you guys are now."FREAKED OUT". I had to be there at 5A.M. I was sooooo nervous but had come too far to turn around. I had been wanting this for 2 years no matter how afraid I was. I am glad I went through with it. I have no regrets. I was a little stiff the first couple of days with very little pain. I only took tylenol a few times. You'll be fine and the susrgery will be a breeze <a href="http://www.TickerFactory.com/weight-loss/wz7PEQQ/" target="_blank">

    Cheese & Yogurt?

My Nutritionist told me to add a little cheese on top of my veggies. I do well with it. I really haven't tried yogurt yet. So unless they dont agree with you, I would say go for it.src="http://tickers.TickerFactory.com/ezt/t/wz7PEQQ/weight.png" border="0" alt="" /></p>

    Banded and Home!!!

You're doing good! I was banded 08-04-09 and came home feeling tired and sleepy. I would move around a while, and nap a while. It's nice to know that others here went through the same stage as I, so it sounds like a normal stage. As the others have said, give it a few days and you'll feel stronger every passing day.src="http://tickers.TickerFactory.com/ezt/t/wz7PEQQ/weight.png" border="0" alt="" />

1 week postop and still bad gas

Everyone has given great advice. For me, I thought the gas would never go away. walking may have helped, but not very much at all. The gas relief products worked after chewing them after meals and at bedtime. the gas lasted nearly 3 weeks for me so hang in theresrc="http://tickers.TickerFactory.com/ezt/t/wLrDvtG/weight.png" border="0" alt="" />
  9. Hi Tracy, I used to live in the DC area. I've been banded for 10 weeks now. I"ve had one fill and will have another fill this week. Hopefully this one will give me more restriction, I'm able to eat too much right now thus slowing down my weight loss. Let me know when you're banded

  15. Hi, just checking to see if you have gotten over that plateu yet. I am still at a stand still. No loss, no gain either. it's frustrating. At the support meeting, I was told that I am where I am suppose to be after being banded only 8 weeks (at that time) it will be 10 weeks tomorrow hmmm. I just have to be patient. Have you experienced any other problems since banding? let me know how its going.

    Soda soda soda

I was a diet cola freak too. It's been 3 months since I quit and 19 since I quit smoking too......LOL. Never tried diet snapple, but I will. I also love crystal light grape<a href="Weight Loss - Diet Ticker target="_blank">
  20. It seems your little car has gone a lot of miles and thats a good thing. I've had one fill with (I don't think any restriction yet) But I"ve noticed at times, when I start to eat I push my plate back because I feel as if I no longer want what's in front of me after a few bites. But its not beacuse I feel full. Is that how it is suppose to be, and I cant tell the difference?

I feel like I blew it....

I feel your pain and understand. I did the same thing about an hour ago at dinner. I was doing oh so well and really never fell off the wagon that much untill to night. I made potato salad, sweet potato souffle, ham, and green beans cooked in ham broth. I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER, but I haven't cooked a nice meal for them in nearly 2 months. I was banded 7 weeks ago and they have been understanding and patient. Yes, I ate a little of everything and feel soooo guilty. I dont want to go back to old habits either, and I wont. I've only had one fill and still have no restriction. But as someone said, "Let's not beat ourselves up about it" Let's move on from here and prove only to ourselves that WE CAN DO THIS.</p>
  22. Everyone here has given you some really good words of advice and its all true. I was in your shoes and so was a lot of other bansters. As "TOOMUCHRN" said, depression usually set in around day 5 or 6 post op. the 1st 3 weeks were the hardest for me. At week 4 I got right back into my regular routine of bowling tournaments and other activities that kept me busy. half of my reason for doing this was for health reasons(high blood & diabetes)the other half was to look better and feel better about myself. I am starting to do that. Remember your reasons and don't stop believing

Fill # 4 - 4 Fills in 4 months! Let this be the one!

I've had my 1st fill and can tell no change at all. I feel as if I can eat as much as I want but I dont. I stop myself before getting to that point. I know Im eating more than I should. I cant wait to hit the so called SWEET SPOT
  24. You think YOU are scared. I cancelled and changed my mind 3 times in one month. It was off again and on again back and forth. I finally did it. I said to myself that everyone who had the surgery must have gone through the same thing so just get going and dont look back. and I did. I was banded 08-04-09 and have lost 30 lbs. Just remember, we all went through the same fears. some a little more than others. actually, the surgery really wasn't bad. I had hardly any pain
  25. Hi, I was banded Aug.4,09 and have lost 30 lbs since that time. I havent lost a pound in 2 weeks now but thats soon going to change. I go for my 2nd fill oct.28 and Im hoping that I get get good restriction. Yes it does feel great to fit into clothes that were once too tight
