You know, someone told me I needed to join a support group/forum. I joined a couple years ago, but I wasn't active. Yall made me run to the mirror to ask myself, "Can you really look like that again?" LOL! I am grateful for your encouragement. My lap band procedure is projected for October/November. I have two more visits to go. @ BSW40 - I love exercising (especially swimming). I can't wait til I lose enough just to start again. -

You GO girl!! I'm in my pre-op phase...Procedure should be in October or November. Stopped eating fast food for 2 weeks and the difference is remarkable! -
Thank you so much for posting "true" before and after photos of yourself. It took me forever to find photos to which I could relate!! I hope to begin my journey after the first of the year. I had to switch benefits 'cause my current HMO doesn't cover the procedure. :frown:
You look grrreat!! I was once a 12/14 and now I am a 28/30. NOT GOOD!!!
