Anyone know a Surgeon in Southern California that is In Network for UHC EPO?

I was told that there is a way to ask UHC to pay for an out of network surgery... It's called a "Network Gap Exception" I was also given a fax number to speed up things.. 1-801-567-5498

Hi all, My name is Jannice I'm 33 and live in Bakersfield,CA. I went to my lapband seminar last night and have a meeting with the insurance lady on Tuesday. I will have UHC-EPO as of Jan 1, 2009 and I'm hoping with a BMI of 41 with High BP and Depression. Both of them I have been medicated for during the last 3 years.
