    I am not loosing either. I was banded on 11/25 and I get my first fill next week. I have trouble not drinking with meals. That is why I am not loosing. I hope when I get my first fill it will begin to work. Joan

    Hey Last night I experienced pain on my left side where my port is for the first time. I tried to lay on that said, but could not and then it was hard to get out of bed and twist that way. I have not noticed it hurting til just now. Has anybody wlse experienced this? Thanks, Joan

    HI I am 3 day post op and I feel pretty good today. I called my dr and realized I could have skim milk and some slim fast. I took some creamy chicken Soup and watered it down slightly. I have absolutely been starving this week. I went shopping for black friday with my hubbie and felt great. Joan

    Hi I was banded 11/25 and feel like I am starving myself. I am suppose to be on clear liquids until a week from tomorrow, but right now I am so depressed. I do not know how you can live on so little food. Joan

    I was banded on 11/25 and right now I feel like I am starving myself to death. The broth is yucky and I am drinking propel, water, and eating sugar free jello. Has anyone else been so hungry they just can't stand it. Thanks, Joan

    Hi--My name is Joan and I got my band on 11/25. My surgery was at 1:30 and I went home at 6:30. It went great. I am sore today, but I took liquid tylenol and it took the edge off. I hope to get lots of advice on this site.
