  1. Hey Guys and Gals, I'm two weeks out now (banded on 12/04) and I'm feeling pretty good!!! I still have two weeks to go on clear liquids and protein drinks and then I can start some soft foods. I will be real glad when I can have the soft foods but it really isn't too bad now as far as hunger goes. The first week was pure hell and now it has just been a mind set with me as far as my hunger goes. I just figure that it's what my doctor wants me to do and he's the expert. The GREAT part is that from the start of my pre-op diet until now, I've lost 55 LBS!!! I'm stoked!!! Here is wishing everyone gods blessings and MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! Spike.
  2. Hi Carey, I live by you. I'm by Lake Meridian. I got banded 12/04. So far so good. I hope everything is going good for you also. Spike
  3. I was banded on 12/4 by Dr. OH and I go in for my 1 week post op appt on Friday 12/12. I was wondering If I would still be on clear liquids and such after this appt still? Or will I be able to start drinking some protein again? For those of you that have been banded by DR. Oh, what did he have you do after 1 week post op. What did he let you eat and when?
  4. I'm a locomotive engineer for one of the major ClassI railroads here in the USA. Got banded yesterday!! Home today and feeling pretty good.
  5. I got home today. The surgery was yesterday. Everything went just fine. Dr. Oh also took out my Gall Bladder. I had a huge stone in it and it was also inflamed quite a bit. I actually feel pretty good. The worst part was getting rid of all the gas buildup in my shoulders and such:scared2:. It went away fairly quick and I attribute that to getting my ass up out of that hospital bed and doing quite a bit of walking up and down the halls of the floor that I was on.
  6. Tomorrow is the day for me!!! (12/04/08) I'm excited. I'll try and post as soon as possible after I get home from the hospital on Friday. Dr. Oh is doing the surgery.
  7. Hooray!! The results of my cardio test were all good, so Thursday is a GO!!
