Trulyleaves, good luck. I have already begun my new journey. I know every surgery is different, but make sure if you have pain, keep it under control. Don't let it get ahead of you. You will do fine. No matter what happens, keep your chin up and try to think about the end result. I would do it again, no matter what pain I have felt. This web site has been a terrific source of support. Meet people. See if you can find people in your area that you can buddy with. I have actually found someone who lives less than a mile from me on this site. Good luck and if you need anything hollar.

Hi!! Congratulations on your surgery date! You are right, a new road lies ahead and it's going to an awesome experience! I had my surgery 2 weeks ago, so this is pretty new to me as well. I wish you lots of luck...You can do this!! : ))

I am scheduled for surgery on April 7,2009.
Ready to begin a new journey and make new friends along the way to share the experince with. With God on our side we can accomplish everything.:thumbup: -

Onderland stands for being under 200lbs. I too am being banded on April 7th, doing pre-op stuff Friday 03/13, what a lucky day. -
I"ve been grappling with this decision for a year now. Last night I decided to grab the bull by the horns and do something about my life. I have my lapband surgery scheduled for April 7, 2009 :wink_smile: and come hell or high water I will have this done and be successful. I am excited to be part of this community and look forward to reading everyones stories and experiences.
