  3. I was banded Oct. 29, 2008. I have a 14 cc band. I had two fills so far. (6.5 ccs total) My weight was 229. I'm now 200. I just brought a wii fit and I love it. I try to work out at least 5 times a week. I can't wait for my third fill which is March 2. My doctor isn't agressive at all. He likes doing it slow. So Im thankful I have insurance that pays for it. If I was self pay I wouldn't like that.

  4. Do u get online with your wii fit and workout with other people. I just have to buy my cable and I will be online. I need a wiifit buddy. How long have you had your wii fit. I just brought mine today.....and I love it. Me and the kids. If you would like for us to workout together I work Tuesday to Friday 7 a.m. and I'm home by 6:45 pm central time. Sat, Sun, Mon I am off. Maybe we can come up with a schedule to workout at least once a week together. I think that will be fun.

    OMG first time out to a luncheon and well....

    U sound like me. I call it being on a roller coaster. That's what I wrote in my blog. When did you get banded? Doctors do the first fill in about six weeks......well that's how my doctor does it. Everyone is different. But sound like u r doing great! Keep up the good work patti!!
  6. Oh and by the way.....come up with a cute name for my band. I just brought GPS navaigter and I name her Ge-ge. (I'm tired of getting lost) So i think that is sooooo cute the way u name your band.
  7. This journal has touched my heart the most. I understand how u feel. I didn't want to tell anyone because what if I gained the weight back later. (Then I really would be a failer) What if I don't lose as fast as the other person and people look at me and think Im losing to slow and being lazy. I have all those thoughts and more. Some people at work know...because I have a coworker that just gotten banded. And another co worker that's gonna get banded. That made me feel better because I see Im not alone. Don't ever think u r a failure. U have done great!!!

  9. Hey I haven't too long sent you a email on your spark page. I am so proud of you. We almost weigh the same. Im 200. Keep up the good work. I had to go to Fl to visit my dad. It was a last minute unexcepted trip. I wrote a little bit about it in my blog. I just brought a wii fit. Do u have one. I am looking for a workout buddy. Hopefully I will be able to get online with my wii fit something this week. (Just looking for one more plug in)

    Let the healing begin

    I am reading your blogs! I saw your text message where you lost 5 lbs. I couldn't text message you back. I have to order a new phone. My light went out in my phone so don't send anymore text messages. (if you do...i wont b able to c them) Hopefully I will have my new phone Tuesday. If you need me call. Congrats on losing your 5 lbs.

    Didn't meet my goal

    I wanted to lose three lbs by last Wednesday. I didn't lose any. The reason was because we had to go to Ocala, Flordia to visit my father. We always stay at Days Inn and they have a wafflemaker and the waffles taste great. Also we ate at McDonalds a lot. I did good the first few times ordering a salad....then my husband ordered Papa Johns pizza.:tt1: The good thing is I brought my Slim n six workout and I workout out. So when we came home Wednesday I still weighed 203. I weighed myself today and I lost the three lbs. I am now 200. :thumbup: I did it....just not on my timeline. Also today I brought the Wii Fit....I been playing it for about an hour and I love it!!
  13. Last week I lost 5 lbs. This week I lost 4 lbs. I weigh 203. I lost 26 lbs. I don't know how many inches I've lost but I can tell I lost a good amount. I have a few non scale victories. I wore a suit yesterday I couldn't wear in over a year. I have my daughter pants on today. :bored: So now I get to dig in the closest and pull out all the old clothes. :frown::thumbup::nono: Also I am doing a really good job staying off the roller coaster. And I am a lot better at being consistant with my workouts. (read my previous blog) I see a big different with the changes I've made. :thumbup: My goal next week is to lost 4lbs at least, by Wednesday (that's my days I weigh myself) so I can be under the 200 mark. My future goals are by April 15 if I'm 180 lbs or lighter I will get my belly button pierce. When I reach my 150 goal I will get a tatoo on my back.

    Low Carb vs Family

    Once you switch to intaking under 30 carbs. How long did your body crave it? That's the problem I am having. My body craves it like I'm a drug addict. When I try to do low carbs. So I just lowered my calorie intake, but I do want to give low carbs another try.

    WOW! The scale is becoming my friend.

    Last week I lost 5 lbs. This week I lost 4 lbs. I weigh 203. I lost 26 lbs. I don't know how many inches I've lost but I can tell I lost a good amount. I have a few non scale victories.   18. Thanks Sara that really help out a lot. I see I'm not the only one. I go for my third fill in March. My friend said with her third feel she felt a HUGE different.

We skated from 1:30 to about 4:30. I burned some really good calories. Also I did my workout before I went skating. I said on weekends instead of lying around and watching tv and sleeping all day. I'm going to start doing more active stuff with the kids. Next weekend if its not too cold I will go bike riding. :heart::heart::heart: For some reason with the lap band. Some days I can go a long time without eating. Other days I can eat like I haven't been banded. (I can't overeat though but I can eat more) Has anyone experience that? Leave me a comment and let me know.

  23. I am really loving this site. I have now just posted my first poll and thread on how many calories do u intake a day, and what's do u eat? I been on this site all day today. At first I usually just email julieann and view some threads. Now I am all over the place. :Banane37::Banane37::Banane37: Today I did really well. I didn't eat breakfast for the simple fact that I didn't get up till after 12 noon. I was very tired from Friday and Saturday. My husband took the kids to Pizza Hut for the buffet. He wanted to take me also. I decline. If you read my previous days u will know why! I was surprise at how easy it was for me to say no. Pizza is my favorite food.....well use to be.....it get stuck now. :cheatfree::cheatfree::cheatfree: I just did my slim n 6 ab workout. Now I am about to do my Burn it up slim n 6 workout. My calorie intake today is 845. That's the lowest. I normally do around 1,500 but looking at the poll i created. I think im going to start intaking about 1,200 calories a day.

  25. I craved chocaltes and sodas. I love code red mountain dew. I still crave sodas. But I don't crave chocate as much.
