    Wanted: September Sleevers!

Ride that bull! I love it! I really appreciate you sharing your journey. I haven't started right, but I know I will get better. I have to get this weight down, and it's doable. So I will keep looking up as I walk ahead.

Very soon I will go from Band to Sleeve!

I think I am learning more than I bargained for. Today was day 1 of my preop, and I cheated already. What I had wasn't super bad, but it great either. I feel bad, but I pray that tomorrow is a better day. I also feel good that I cheated up in the day. Maybe I will have a chance to burn the calories.

    Wanted: September Sleevers!

Today is day 1 of the preop. I just has my first shake. My worry is how will this work with me working in the field. I will be stopping on a regular to peepee (sorry y'all). I am nervous, but I know I can do this. We can do it.

    September Sleevers!

I started my diet today. I had to purchase the bars, pudding and shakes from my doctor's office. I was told to have 4 of the items per day. so I plan to have 2 shakes and 2 bars. I can still have lean meat and veggies. So I know that will balance things out. I pray that I can stay full.

    Halloween challenge

Ok.... I am really not comfortable saying this, but change happens when one can see their reality. So here goes...... Starting weight 296.2 Goal weight 270 I know I might have the advantage of being on an all liquid diet, because my surgery is on the 19th. But I know that this is still a tool and I am responsible for what goes in my mouth. So I pray that I can do this and do well. I pray the same for you all. Now let's get this weight off!!

I hate my band. However, I appreciate the journey of having the band. I learned a lot about myself during this process.

Very soon I will go from Band to Sleeve!

Thanks so much. I'm starting my Preop diet in the morning. I'm a little nervous. I have read about a lot of people cheating, and I am happy to know that I can have lean meat and plenty of green veggies. But I have to have 4 of the Meal Replacements I was forced to purchase. So it seems that I will be ok. I don't want to broadcast this surgery, so i am trying to figure out the best way to work this without always having to explain.

    crushing vitamins

There are also chewable calcium pills. You all can go to the pharmacist at the drug store and they can provide you with the information. I wish I could remember the name of the chewable one. But they are awesome, so use them.

    September 18th

I look forward to hearing about your process. I have my surgery on the 19th. I'm excited and nervous all at the same time. Please let's keep in touch. This is not an easy process and talking to someone that understands is always good.

Centrum (I think I spelled that right) has a chewable. Go to CVS or Walgreens. You should find it there.

    Halloween challenge

Thanks so much for taking the time to respond to me. I know the limited food consumption is gonna be something to get use to. I appreciate your encouragement. I will make realistic goals for myself. I will do my personal weigh in and my subtraction

Band to sleeve, same op, August 12th !

Thanks so much. I will see what I can do to ensure I am pain free
  20. I know i am not a doctor. But, I think the key is less carbs. I could be wrong, but I believe it's something about the way carbs break down in your system. So I plan to my best, but if I just have to have something I will do by best to not have carbs/starches.

    September Sleevers!

I have been trying not to do it, but honestly it hasn't been working. But it seems that I haven't really gained because I can't eat too much junk at a time. It's so awful. I'm getting back on track now. Cause I need this to be a way of life, and I know that I will have these foods again. Just not as much.
  22. You aren't alone. We will get through this successfully.

    Wanted: September Sleevers!

Let's keep in touch. I have mines on the 19th. I haven't found one person that has the same date as me, but you are the closes. I don't know if you have someone doing this with you, but I could sure use the support. When do you begin preop?

Band to sleeve, same op, August 12th !

Oh I can hear it now, if I went to work free. My husband is not hearing that one. So do sports bras hurt too? I will have to look for some tight tanks thay won't ride up. Cause that will be the other problem. I am praying that I won't have any problems, cause I need to keep my job. My husband has been super supportive, and he could care less if I work. I know that is not realistic for our lives right now. So I am grateful for his heart, but I just pray that all will be well.
