hey there! thanks for checkin in! i was just there last night actually. I am doing great how are you doing? i had my 2nd fill today so now I have 4cc's in my band and am down 20lbs since surgery. how about u???

have you talked to your doctors? maybe they would have a suggestion! how many cc's do you have in your band???

hey I am not sure how I feel yet with this fill.....Im not sure of the reason behind it but they say it take 1-2 weeks to feel any restriction from the fill. I think I feel less hungry though, I just dont really feel restricted. I lost another lb though....actually almost 2lbs bc i went from 239.7 to 237.2 so I am happy! I still burb like a sailor lol it does get a little better though they say if you are burping you are probably eating too fast, so try to slow it down! keep me up to date on how its going! oh and thanks for leaving comments on my blog!!!!!!!

well when you put it that way 14lbs in a month sounds like a lot. I guess I was just comparing myself to those who had lost 20lbs. I really need to stop comparing. I am glad you have someone to do your fills? How are you feeling today??

oh my gosh that is soo exciting! I'm so happy for you! You must be so relieved especially seeing how everything got delayed! Thanks for reading my blog that means a lot to me, and I am glad you liked it! I was not really hungry my first 3 weeks post op but this last week I am have soooooooooo much more hungry....I am a little upset I have only lost 14lbs since surgery but I'm trying to keep my chin up, I get a first fill on Tuesday...what are you going to be doing for fills once you get home??

hey wow that is exciting you'll have to let me know how it goes! oh no lahey doesnt have any requirments like that its all on an individual basis according to what your insurance requires. My insurance only required 3 months and then I know anyother girl who is having it done there, she just started the process and has a date next month. What do you have to do at tufts??

i was banded a little over 3 weeks ago at lahey. i had a great experience. but there are so many wonderful places to have it done. I just have been going to lahey my whole life that is why i chose it. do you know when your date is??

hey! that is awesome that you are still going down, I seem to be stuck at 13lbs down. I need to crank the exercise as well! youll have to tell me all about your fill seeing you are the week before me!

i am the same way anywhere from 4-6oz of food and I am good and it keeps me full for a long time. I dont feel any restriction do you? I know I do have a little bit in my band but I'm not sure how much I think its 2cc but I dont know. i was afraid I was eating too much but im glad to hear from someone else that they are eating that amount as well. do you know when you are getting a fill??

omg I feel the same way I feel no difference. I don't feel any restriction and no full feeling at all when i eat. I was starting to think there was something wrong. My first fill is on the 21st of July. Let me know how yours goes!!!

hey lady! I've been doing pretty good. Really didn't start feeling normal til 7 days post op. Yesterday and today I am pretty darn good! I've lost 12lbs post op....that was in 7 days while I was on broth and jello...now I have to eat stuff like sherbert, yogurt, pudding and creamy soups and have not lost anything. All the foods I am eating go right through I feel no restriction at all. I am going to go on my tredmill today for like 15 minutes just to see how I am feeling. Do you know when your first fill is? Mine is July 21st.

hey cherri! I am doing well how are you?? I had some issues with pain meds making me feel worse than the actual surgery itself. They switched my meds and now I'm actually not on any at all and I am feeling pretty good. A little weak but good. I'm down 12lbs and feeling good how are you doing??

hey there! I made it through the surgery just fine!!! Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you, I have not spend much time online lately because I was not feeling well enough. I am down 12lbs 8 days post op how are you doing??

Hey Lisa! Things are going pretty well now. I am finally not needing pain meds and that feels wonderful. It gets to a point where the meds actually start to make you feel worse. I am down 12lbs as of yesterday which was 1 week post off. I'm happy! How are you doing???

Hey Kathy! Thanks so much! I just called Lahey and found out I am having surgery at 7:30am and have to be there at 5:45!!! Man I am going to be tired I don't ever get up that early lol.

I am loosing my mind too! I have been in Missouri the past 5 days, just got in last night and now I'm like whoa I have 4 days this is insane! lol
