My surgeons assistance is forwarding the issue to the bariatric center. She has been a god sent and she has been fighting for me a lot. As for my department, the person in human resources that job is to fight the insurance company is a tool. She finds ways to keep us from having stuff like this. It is a appointed position.

My deductible is $200 and when I reach $500 they cover 100% up to $15000. I asked how much it would be out of pocket and was told they can only give me a estimate of $23000. She said they they will not tell her the negotiated amount because they will not tell her. Total out of pocket would be around $8000. They want a total of $5000 down. A side note is that they have a self pay package of $19500. I am just hoping they will take the $15000. I am willing to pay for the fills and doctor visits. I hate dealing with insurance. I don't understand it. I don't get sick. I am in good shape just kinda well, fluffy.

Since Donna is so mad at me I will not give up. I have shopped around the area and the prices are about the same. I really can't travel because work will not give me the time off. So has anyone used care credit? My doctor is not listed. The reason I want to stay with her so badly is because she is considered one of the best in the courty. In my profession I can't risk having a slippage or so on. How does care credit work? I am kinda of dumb when it comes to insurance and stuff like that. I don't get sick often. Well my LAP-BAND® adventure is over. I can't get the hospital to tell me how much it is going to cost. When I try they tell me it could be $20000 to $30000. I can't get any straight answer and it comes down to I can't afford it. I am very depressed about it. Like I said, I seen a light at the end of the tunnel and it was slammed shut. What really makes me mad is if I was a self pay they offer a package deal that is $19000 but since I got a insurance approval they will not give me that. I will stick to dieting and working out. Right I workout 6 days a week for 2 to 4 hours each session. I am bulking up with a lot of muscle but I just can't get the fat off. Even with a insane about of running and cardo. Right now I have my doctors dumbfounded on y I am not losing fat. I just wanted to thank everyone for for their help. I guess I was born fat and will die fat, that's life. Well I got my insurance approval from my insurance company in 3 days. I was told that my insurance would cover everything and I was told the day of approval they are changing our coverage to only cover $15000 total for everything. This means that once they reach $15000 they will no longer pay. I was told that it could cost around $20000 to $25000 for the surgery. That mean all the fills and follow ups is out of pocket. It also mean that if complication and have to have it removed or replaced they advised me if I am past the $15000 point it is all out of pocket. Well this sucks but here is the questions How much does a fill cost? How often do you have to go to get a fill? How much did everyone els pay for their surgery? Would anyone know where I can find out how much payments would be for $10000 of the surgery being financed? I know I am asking a lot but they truth is I don't have a lot of money, cops are paid so well. I need estimates and help in general.
