Hey I just got your message. I am still on liquids and so therefore I am still loosing. I have lost a total of 28 pounds but that includes preop diet. I can't believe you can eat a sandwich or popcorn. I always heard bread was one of the hardest things to swallow. Have you lost any weight??

hey! i have not been to any support meetings! i know that is bad but with work and all just haven't made the time! i will have my 1st fill dec 29 which i am glad. i am still not on solid foods so i really do want to eat christmas dinner!!

I am a little nervous about it but I have to do something that works! I am still tring to learn how to navigate around this site so please have patience with me!!!!

I am doing well. I have had 3 fills and have lost 65 lbs. It is alot of work! Today was the first time I threw up. It was wierd I guess I ate too fast or did not chew well....anyway dont want to go through that again!!!

I am so happy for you! You are very lucky to have insurance that covers your surgery. I had to pay for mine! Good luck on pre-op diet....it takes time to get used to it!

I am trying to learn how to navigate my way through this site! I am also nervous about surgery however I found out today that I have last 12 pounds!!!

I get mushie foods in a week and then after a week of mushie I can start eating regular foods. My first fill is not until Dec 29 so I should be good for Christmas. And listen 10 pounds lost is good. It beats the heck out of 10 pounds gained. I think if your band has slipped you would have some other types of symptoms. At least I would hope so anyway. The way my doctor explained it to me is without fills there is little to almost no restriction. But I don't know all doctors are different.

I get to try solids next wednesday! Has anything solid bothered you yet? My doctor makes me wait along time!!
