  4. I am reading these posts because I was trolling to find someone who has slipped up as badly as I have this week. I have had only one fill and needed another but the doc's office wouldn't set one up until after the holidays. ( I resent that a little, but understand everyone likes time off during the holidays.) I have major self disipline issues when a crisis occurs in my life and I had a major family crisis this week. I found someone to identify with (the girlfriend) and got to witness the best (the boyfirend) and worst (you know who you are) of people I share something in common with (the band). I will go on record as one of the older posters (55) as one who has permanent scarring from kicking my own ass so hard over the years. Personally, I find inspiration from those posters who stick to the facts about what has worked and not worked for them. My name is Kitt but I find cat fights hard to watch. After all--it is Christmas. Here is to starting off to a more successful New Year with gratitude for our tool and companionship in our struggles.
  5. Wow! Thanks for your careful analysis. Makes sense to me. I am only 10 days banded so I haven't hit the plateau but I know one is most likely in my future. Your encouragement and support is bound to be just right for someone right now.

    Infection! :(

You may be allegeric to the antibiotic. When I have been given Sulpha it makes my stomach hurt like hell. I always list it as a drug allergy now so they always give me something else. I am on liquid augmentin for complications from my hernia surgery. We don't know for sure if I have an infection just ruling it out.

    Infection! :(

My goodness! You have lots of sympathy from me. I am only one week post op and have been back to the dr. twice to have blood withdrawn from the pocket that developed in the surgical site where he repaired my umbilical hernia (same time as the lap band surgery). I complained so much about feeling like I had the flu that he finally agreed to give me antibiotics. Besides not being able to eat haven't you felt ill this whole time? Why has so much time passed before some action? I do believe in 2nd opinions. My husband's life was saved by a 2nd opinion. God bless you with a way out of this mess.
