How often should I get a fill?

I got my first fill on 12/4; I thought I would be filling full right away, but it's not the case. I am now at 3.4cc in a 10cc band. Is it ok for me to go back for another fill? Or, is it too soon?

    Plumbing not working!!

I don't know any other way to say it, so I'm going to say like it is...has anyone experienced constipation after surgery? It's been 8 weeks, and I have not been regular once. Can we take something, or can it hurt us? Any feedback would be appreciated. :rolleyes2:

    September bandsters

How do you know when your fill really works? Do you feel full right away? How did you know to go for another fill after two weeks? I'm just really curious to find out if I'm doing the right thing.

    September bandsters

And here I thought I was alone. I had my first fill last week - I am now at 3.4cc; I don't feel any restrictions. My surgery was on Oct 23rd and since then, I have lost 16lbs...slowly but surely. I watch what I am eating, and when I full, I stop. But, I wished that the fill would help me more than that. I hear people taking 2 bites and being full...I can take more than 2 bites, beleive me, before I can feel full. I eat pretty much everything, but in smaller quantities...I do stay away from any Pasta, pizza and such and fill up on veggies, Soups, yogurts. Cathy 202/186/145

No Loss in a Week - Help!

I am wondering if anyone has experienced that problem. I was banded 2 weeks ago, and I lost some weight before the surgery. Since last week, I have not lost anything at all - I am on the liquid diet until tomorrow. My worry is that I will start gaining weight since I will be eating real food. Has anyone had that happened?

    Banded 10/21 and have ???

I hated the lump in my throat...it lasted for about a week and went away. My dr told me it was the soreness from the tube during surgery and the overflow from the liquid...imagine that! I was sipping on liquid throughout the day to make sure I was hydrated, but I guess it was too much liquid...so, in my dr's terms....the gates were overflowing. I have reduced the amount of liquid I am drinking, and I am doing much better.

anyone use ddr to lose weight?

I used DDR in the past, but I am a Curves addict. I have been going to Curves for Women for 6 years, and I love it. In and out in 30 minutes for a complete workout.

    Bad breath...help

Oh yes....nasty. My kids called me "breath vador" - that bad. It's been 2 weeks since I have been banded, and I can finally see the difference. My tongue is no longer pasty; I think the soups make a difference. I am starting mushy food tomorrow! Yeah!!!! I can't wait.

    Side Pain

I was banded on the 25th, and I am very sore around the port. Yesterday, while I was walking, I started to feel some pain on the right side below the scar. My doctor told me it was all internal bruising and it needed time to heal. So, I am not really worry about it...I am sure it will eventually go away. Good luck!

    Four Days post op 11/2/08

I had my surgery 10 days ago, and I went back to work after 4 days. It was very difficult to move around, but I did it...slowly but surely. You should not be afraid of sharing your experience with your co-worker; I did! People are curious are they are going to ask questions, so why not tell them? My co-workers are very supportive; they help me get around, carry heavy stuff for me, and they check on me throughout the day to make sure I am ok. Allowing them to be part of my surgery has helped me tremendously....maybe you should give it a shot.

    Mushy breakfast

I am new to the forum, but I have been so many blogs that I finally decided to join. It's been 10 days since my surgery, and I have lost 13.5lbs....and plenty more to go  I was wondering if anyone had some breakfast ideas for the mushy stage. I can't seem to find anything, and I am kind of lost as far as what I can eat. I found some wonderful recipes for lunch and dinner, and I can't wait to try them.
