oh wow this is frustrating. i lost my period weight and then i gained a pound yesterday. i dont get it! yes i got a fill on april 1st and i lost 5 pounds immediately. i have since kept gaining and losing between 1 and 3... do you get text messages? text me... 805-823-3096.

Ok well i am glad that I am not alone when it comes to losing my restriction. i thought to myself sure i can lose 8 pounds by then! but i have been working out three times a week and i gained a pound since yesterday. i dont get it...

hey the scale is not movign for me either. its frustrating. i got my period and actually gained three or four pounds. sucks! but i have been sweating my ass off at the gym 3-4 days a week so hopefully something will happen here.

yeah i feel the same way about this site and the band now. when i first got my fill i lost five pounds and now i gained back three. weird. i am working out 3-4 times a week too so i dont get it. i did cheat here and there. i guess i need to get back on track. i go for my next fill on 5/13. i want it tomorrow!!! i feel like i can still eat a lot. what about you?

Hey so did you go and get your fill yet? Next wednesday is my post op so i am hoping that i get filled. Today is "technically" the day that i can start eating normal foods. Too bad I have been doing that for two weeks now. oh well. I have been going to the gym which is good. I lost 1.2 pounds last week. Oh well. I am ready for a fill! My bday was last Tuesday so I have had cake and candy a lot. How are you doing?

Hi, I am down 11.4 pounds since surgery. Since I have been eating pretty regularly the weight is barely coming off now. Thank god for the gym! Congrats on the 13 pounds!

yes the support band goes on under your clothes. mine costed $40. I did not have a pre op liquid diet so i have only lost 11 pounds. i am three weeks post op tomorrow. the first two weeks it dropped like crazy but when i started eating food it has stopped coming off. i am waiting for my first post op appt so i can hopefully get a fill

will this be your first post op appointment? I went for pasta tonight with my softball team and got stuck for the first time. It went down after like thirty seconds thank god but now I know what its all about. Definitely push for a fill. I am too. I have to wait until the first though... but I can eat anything right now. Scary.

YES i went through that. I would wince if I moved even just a little. I am telling you, go to a medical supply store and spend $40 on a stomach support band. It will help you 100%. I even had to sleep in it. I am almost three weeks post op and am still taking some Tylenol because the port still hurts. It would feel like it was ripping out my insides!

Hi, I ate a lot today and I have not weighed myself since last sunday. I will weigh myself in the morning. I doubt that I have lost anything since everyone says once you stop the liquid diet then you stop losing weight. I am eating pretty much whatever I want right now. I need to get a fill. I dont go in until the first though. Ill let you know how I do in the morning. I have a little journal that I have been tracking my calories in. Not today of course though. ha... good night.

they call this time bandster hell. most of the posts say as soon as you stop liquids the weight loss freezes. remember - we got the lapband because we cant control how we eat. your lapband is "just there" right now and its not functioning. as soon as you get a fill it will have a purpose. i know easier said than done but try to remember that. we all got bands because we cant do it alone. so once you get a fill it will be better. i have been eating too. i am supposed to be on mushies and i am eating everything. keep in touch with me though. i am not going to judge. i am most likely doing what you are doing. i look forward to hearing from you everyday.

yeah i get it about the pain. my port site was so sore. it just eased up a few days ago. everytime i moved it felt like it was tearing apart. ugh... so glad thats over with!!! well congrats chica!!! we are both banded! can you believe it? its hard for me to believe. i am able to eat pretty much anything right now. i go in for my follow up on april 1st (my man and my first anniversary). i hope to get a fill then. but i dont know if he does a fill on the first visit. we will see!!!!
