Thanks for the response. I appreciate it. My plans for surgery are on hold at the moment. I spoke to my nutritionsist and she wants me to wait a year and give her a chance to help me with the right diet and portion control; which I am more than willing to do. I will still confirm if my insurance will approve me when my insurance kicks over to UHCP in january. You are doing great!! Congratulations! :biggrin:

:cursing:soon2bskinny Hi All. This is my first post, though I have been reading them for 3 weeks now. I am fervently researching but have at this time made up my mind to do the surgery. I am letting my pride go in order ot lead as healthy a life as possible. I am 5'5 and 240lbs and can't seem to get the weight off. I would also like a copy of the letter that you submitted to your insurance company(mine will be changing to UHC Choice Plus in January '09). Right now I have Fisev health and they do not cover it. I really appreciate all the information. On my first submition of paperwork I am going to take advantage of all the advice and have mt PCP's letter, 5 year history of obesity, my BMI is 41, the pstch eval, and nutritionist vist(am I forgetting anything?) I feel like I am rambling. I will stop now. Thanks for all the information.
