You do deserve it. You have obviously done well and reached your goal weight. There's no reason why you shouldn't take a break and have some fun. It's also a good idea to try to maintain without it. If you start gaining you can always go get a fill after your trip. I got unfilled mid December. My son was home from college for the holidays and I just wanted to enjoy my time with him. I've gained 4 or 5 pounds but as long as I don't see the scale go up too much more I plan on waiting until February or March before I get refilled. Enjoy your trip!

I started a new job on Monday. On Wednesday a coworker said, "I think you went to school with my husband". She told me his name which sounded vaguely familiar....lets face it, I graduated 30+ years ago! She then went on to say, "He said you were heavy in school and I told him it must be someone with the same name because you were VERY THIN!"

I had to drive 500 miles to a funeral three weeks after surgery. It was fine. I stopped along the way for yogurt, soup and pintos and cheese from Taco Bell.

I was banded on a tuesday. Went home on wednesday. Thursday I was dehydrated and drove myself back to the hospital....25 miles!

Ive always been a Taco Bell junkie too. Now instead of some meal or deal box I'm happy with a side of pintos and cheese. 170 calories, 9g protein and I usually have a hard time finishing it!
