I have finally made my first appointment with a doctor.:clap2: I went to many information sessions and now I have committed! I am going to see doctors Smith and Curry in Cincinnati. First appointment is set for Tuesday. Wish me luck this is a big step.

Well I just bought my house but I put 20% down which is enough to cover the surgery but I don't know if anyone will want to refinance me for the entire amount of the house?

For all of you who's insurance wouldn't pay for your surgery how did you finance it? I don't have the best of credit so I don't think I can get a loan for $16,000. :think I need some creative ways of financing surgery! I am a newbie from Ohio. I have three young children 2 boys Justin (6) and Jordan (2) and my baby girl Abi is one. Though I am only 22 I have been fighting with my weight my entire life and after having 3 children I woke up and realized that I wanted to actually be able to go out and play with them and show them the world. I am still in the planning and learning phases of my lap-band experience. I have gone to a few informative meetings and think I have found that doctor that I would like to see.
