  1. candy with Isomalt in it works for me, I eat about 3 or 4 pieces or lollipops a day when i am stopped up and it does me just fine. Hope this helps. Kim
  2. Thanks for the info on sugar, I will definately watch how much I eat of it.
  3. Hi, I am 3 weeks post op and feel like I am obsessing already about Protein and making sure I eat enough of it. Had my surgery on military base and they really didn't explain things very well. I am really tired and still sore. Is this normal? I really could use a friend to answer questions, help with foods to eat and just keep me from going crazy! lol... Little more about myself.... I am 43, I don't work right now, but would like to go back in the future, when I lose some more weight. I love to play bing and pogo and of course go watch my daughter at marching band. My husband is Air Force almost 20yrs in. I would love to chat with anyone who wants to not just a mentor. Thanks Kim
  4. I am on pureed foods for 2 more weeks and I feel like I am going to go mad! It seems that I have to obsess about everything I eat and I really hate it. Everything is such a production in this stage. 1/2 can tuna here, 1 egg boiled and mashed, etc....make sure everything I have is high Protein. ugggg! I miss just being able to throw some Cereal in a bowl with some milk and eat it. The doctor never really explained why we cant eat sugar either. Can someone explain that? I am not diabetic and I am allergic to all artificial sweeteners except splenda and that tastes awful. I am ranting sorry. Getting frustrated! I want real food LOL. Kim
  5. I went to the store today and found greek yougart. Not bad if I say so myself, kind of thick so eating it slow but it is good, love the blueberry. Still doing research on Protein bullets and pills if I find out more I will let you know. Kim
  6. Just wondering if anyone has tried taking protein pills? I am tired already of having to obsess about my protein. The shakes are awful and I cannot do any sugar free except splenda. :tongue_smilie: Any suggestions and recommendations are greatly appreciated!!! Kim
  7. HI all! I just joined a couple of days ago. I am 2 weeks post op and am down almost 20 lbs already. I am in Beavercreek and had my surgery on base. We have a support goup that meets once a month but would like to be able to chat more. If anyone likes to chat let me know would love to talk to anyone in the area. Also when I am cleared to go in the pool I plan on doing water aerobics at the Beavercreek YMCA If anyone is interested in joining me, It would be nice to have someone to go with. Hope you to hear from someone soon! Kim
