Wow! I am so glad I am not going to that hospital. I am getting my band tomorrow at 8 am. I have to be there at 6 in the morning. I am very scared and trying to keep my mind off of it. Wish me well.

Hey I feel for you. I know what 2 days are doing for me and can only image how it is for you. My doctor only requires 2 days but it is also on each person. I will keep you in mind prayers. How long have you been on your liquid diet? How are you doing on it? :thumbup:

CONGRATES! to all getting there band in January. I wish everyone the best. I am having a very hard time with this two day liquid diet, it is killing me not to be able to eat real food. If you know what I mean. Now I know why they called this bandster hell sometimes.

Hey I am there too! I am just as nervous as each of you. My band is going to be placed on the 8th. Prayers are with everyone and we are all going to be just fine.

Hello Mommaof3boys, Dr. Moran said the same thing to me as well. Only a two day liquid diet. I have lost some on my own like maybe about 8 lbs. and I also been excerising at least four to five time a week, if I can. We must stay in touch. I am looking forward to Thursday :thumbup:, as I know you are for Wednesday. Did you get your medicine filled for the pain and are you all set at home with your foods. I think I might be but I don't know until that time. :cry_smile: I will be thinking of you and prayers are with you. Good luck!

Hey New Year Hotties. I am getting my band on Thursday and I am very excited. I have a two day liquid diet that is going to kill me, hehehehe but I will get through it. CarolinaMom, I only need a two liquid diet before my surgery. I am getting excited. On Monday the 5th I have to go the hospital and pre-register and do my finial check-up with my last visit with my doctors. After that is just sit back and wait for two days. I know what I will be doing and that is cleaning my desk off at work. I just hope it is not to much from the Holiday break.

Hey I am getting banded on the 8th of January. I too am very excited. The 8th is just next week. I will be banded by Dr. Moran in Raleigh, NC.

daqui26, I went to The Vitiam Shop and got Vanillia and Strawberry/kiwi made by Robb. It is so good. I have mixed in other fruits with the vanillia and the Strawberry I have mixed in Crystal Light Lemonaid. It is so yummy. They are not costly neither. Well next week is my surgery date. It is coming very fast. I am getting excited the closer to the 8th. I will post how things go. Also I have lost 6 more lbs. which is water weight but I will take that too. As long as the scale goes in the right direction, I am all for it. My diet is breakfast protein shake, lunch chicken or beef broth and protein shake, dinner light meal like 2 peices of chicken or pork chops and cup of steam veg's. If still hungry I eat sf jello or popcile.

Hey Carolina Mom, I too have the magic bullet and I love mine too. I mix vanilla protein mix with a very small bite of Bannana. It is so yummmy. I think that is the best investment I could have made for myself. I am also getting banded on the 8th of January in Raleigh, NC Rex Hospital.

We have a name already. It is New Year Hotties. This was named in the intro section under Any January 09 out there. Just thought you would like to know. If someone comes up with a better one.

I have sf jello, broth, protein mixes, pain medicine. gas-x and a small pillow. I think I am all ready so my dh won't need to do to much for me. I am hoping I got everything I need but I am sure I might be missing something.
